I have not received anything since a communique indicating he was busy with DFS brushes. 

Maybe he sent something but it never made it to me. A few highly regarded forum members would know this as we discussed the matter offline over the intervening period

DanLaw Dan, did this get resolved? If what Brett says is true, I think you owe him a very public apology. After all, we are simply charged with being decent human beings, no? If you handled your business in private, good for you. However, you made it public by trashing Brett and belly aching about his lack of response to you as if you were being personally slighted. That seems to be a fabricated position to hold. Maybe you just got a little ahead of your skis? I dunno, but the public lingering of the issue causes me angst, just because it ain't right. If an artisan deserves the vitriol it is one thing, however, if that same artisan goes above and beyond to accommodate you and he still takes a public flogging, well then you are just Scott*, no?

The only other thing I will say that should apply to all of us when dealing in with these artisans and their customs is this...be patient. Let them process their work flow without endless emails/DMs asking about your stuff. Simply place an order and wait. You've not been forgotten in most cases. Just sit back and let them work. The individual artisan processes may be different but they all take one very important thing....time. No need working yourself into a lather over another man you can't control and every email you send is 5min of his day that he isn't fulfilling your order. Now multiply that 1 email by 20 or 30. Just relax and enjoy what is in your hand at the moment. Your new stuff will arrive when it is done.

*before any you Dec-a-holics start typing, the decent human being and Scott references have nothing to do with Mr. Stewart. Both point directly to a prior post made by Dan. Im sure Dan got it, just trying to keep those easy to bunch nickers out of a wad.

I was more curious than anything, so I reached out to Brett and he sent me screenshots of the messages he sent to you on instagram, dated 2/15 (X2) and 4/14 (X3).

Well seeing as I’m looking at my messages to you on Instagram like I’ve said previously I’m gonna have to go ahead and call you full of shit. Im happy to hear you don’t really care though because I will not be making you any brushes going forward. I’d much rather deal with honest customers. Dan has sent me no messages between any of these pictured below.

Well that nice. I checked when last posting, there was nothing there. I have not checked since and like the other poster, really don't care at this post. Brett could have reached out by PM as easily as his combative post where he stated leaving 3 messages that now have morphed to 1 if I recall correctly - know I would have for a customer. He has also been in possession of my email and text if honestly trying to reach me.  Not really interested in begging a man to sell to me, just how it is. Great knots, good handles but not worth the begging nor hassle. That leaves more brushes for others, good news all around.

Seriously Dan, you aren't interested in begging? I disagree, by expecting follow-up via PM on DFS, email, or a personal text to your phone it seems you wanted him to do the begging. And you had him tracking down an engraver because he refuses to turn a Jeffo without a coin?

I’d love to do one soon but work has been sucking up all my free time. It looks to be slowing down though so hopefully I can get more of my custom list out of the way and get a drop together. Hopefully I can do one in the next couple of weeks
