That said, their latest version they say is more refined for those who don't like the mutton tallow smell. Regardless, it's shaving soap and not a cologne.
The lather was fairly thin. I bought it for nostalgic reasons. It was along with Tabac, one of our inspirations early on. Tabac for it's lather and MWF for it's mild, pleasant smell. Sir Henry's Sandalwood was largely developed with a soap like MWF in the back of our minds. I know you guys like 8/10+ scent strengths, but many artisan soaps are over done. What sells commercially are more subtly scented products.

I have been saying this for years. Soap scents should be suggestive, not a frontal assault.

Do I detect a frontal assault on the scent of Tabac?! Perish the thought!! Tabac is awesome. For those who can handle masculinity turned up to 11! Smile

Thanks for all the sheep jokes. I expected no less  Big Grin  I should have been more specific. I was curious if if was scented with fragrance or if it was just mutton. I gather the latter.
