It’s really unbelievable to see jaxstraww act like this over a release. If he truly was a big fan and supporter of Shawn and Scott then he would have been offer congratulations instead of bitter resentment that he didn’t get what he wanted. Instead of ranting, open a bst add and try it that way.

It’s childish and poor form for a community member. Even worse to threaten that you’re going to eBay your soap to make money- no cares and it just reflects poorly on you.

Shawn and Scott or among the very best in the community so, next time you want to cause drama or provide an unnecessary and negative opinion- take it else where. Maybe day time TV will care

What are you going on about? It's a forum for discussion. I discussed. I felt with all the run up that it ended in a ball of fire. Are you saying this how it was intended to go? Again, the fanboy stuff is at an all time high. You can still like a product and give criticism when it doesn't go right. A few of the recent replies are the same as sellers that delete bad reviews. How do you know what I say to Scott or Shawn through email or Twitter. You don't.

By the way the Ebay stuff has a few of you twisted for some odd reason. Threatening? No threat there, mate. For not caring allot of typing about it. Soap will still be sold on Ebay and that cash will almost pay for the full set I'll have on Tuesday (soap, as, toner & salve). As I said. If I want something I simply buy it. Have been doing it for months. I find it laughable that this is about me not getting the products or being resentful. I have the products. The release itself was loose at best and I'm sure not the way that Scott or Shawn intended.

By the way. This was a done issue but if you want to keep chatting send a PM. I'm also planning on being at Maggards in June as well as Ft Lauderdale in late June for more questions and answers.

I love meeting up with fellow wet shavers to share hobby dialogue. Just throwing it out there that I'll be around in person if you prefer to chat over type. You know what they say about keyboard cowboys......

My last post on this but I felt it was needed for when Scott & Shawn dropped by. Yes, allot of noise upstairs concerning the Santal Auster release. I got a full set and an extra soap by the way so there's that.

As jshaves points out I only wish I could have been a better supporter of the product you both put out.

I have never ordered with Jon at Canadian Blade and Beard but hopefully I can get a chance early this week to squeeze in a head shave with the Santal release whenever it gets there. I forgot it doesn't have a tracking number :/

Jon provides great service, I usually get shipments from him quickly but I am only an hour north of where he operates.

Is anyone else excited about the upcoming release of pure lavender? Lavender is one of my favorite notes in fragrances and can’t wait to get this one.

I'm more excited for 4th & Pine personally, but I'll probably grab both since I missed out on Pure Lavender (the aftershave) last year.

I tried a few Declaration Grooming soap samples recently, as I've never used the soap before and had some thoughts:

Firstly, about performance? This soap performs better than anything I owned before Wholly Kaw Donkey Milk. The Declaration Grooming is very very slick, and gave me a super close comfortable shave. Definitely a top 3 performance soap ever for me, it just has such a different looking lather to it, different qualities. Bottom line is, its a great soap and worth the price.

Bandwagon: definitely a barbershop type scent, got the powder, freshness, brightness of it. Not one of my favorite barbershops but it was pleasant to use.
After the Rain: fantastic fresh ozone, type clean scent. Unfortunately, it burned my skin so I couldn't use it.
Cuir et Spices: My favorite of the three I tried. Manly, MANLY, leathery spicy tobacco scent that has a hint of sweetness to it. I purchased a full sized puck after my first shave with it.

Along with my Cuir et Spices purchase, I got an Original sample from maggards as well that is on the way. I wanted to try his Trimegestus scent but it was out of stock. Anyway, I have nothing but great things to say about Declaration grooming soap. Just an luxury experience all around here from the scents to the lather.

By the way, I wonder if Mayflower will be coming back this year? That sounds like a really beautiful scent.
