I agree, their method is not what I call the best out there.

I grabbed a King Cobra a while back and it is in fact a great shaver.

However, for as limited as they are I expected a lot better finish work to be honest. It is a straight production razor; nice but not exceptional. Mine even had some blemishes in the finish that made it past QC so they offered me a credit [I would have preferred exchange but no inventory].

Their Customer Service is outstanding however- very responsive, etc.

Just my .02.

I completely agree with Hector here,

I have spent 9 years in the Great state of Texas and I believe a lot in American made products.

What some retailers, Artisans etc have to understand is the shaving market has a lot of fans just not in the country where they are based out of but worldwide resulting in many passionate shavers being in a coma when they release their products.

James from Wolfman gets a lot of flak on many forums for his wait list, but he and Peter of Wolf Whiskers at least provide a time period where your product is delivered to you and I find that a great arrangement, of course there is a wait period, but atleast I know I am getting a Great American made product within the time frame specified
I have had many a interaction with both Peter and James and find them super responsive and kind

even Mongoose and recently Aldo from Varlet has a waitlist system in place, Toby had one in place earlier, do  not know what happened there,

why Classic shaving or Italian Barber (for his razors) cannot replicate something similar beats me

here, you have to rely on fellow forum members to update about the availability or keep visiting the site as much as possible and never know when you will be able to purchase one and that in my opinion is really frustrating,

Please do understand my views here like the most of us, are of a Passionate shaver as well as a International buyer, so please do try see my viewpoint.

Raj, just for clarification since Canadian-made shaving products are not so commonly talked about, the Wolfman is Canadian, Albertan, in fact. Big Grin

Well,I hope mine is O.K.--It is in route. From what I understand, they use a gun machine shop to make the razors,so the razors are not the prime product they make. That probably explains the QC issues. I just talked to their customer service and they were very nice. She also said another batch of both razors are coming soon and alot more of them. They only had a very small batch this time.

The King Cobra requires a learning curve, so don't panic when you see movement in the head, that's the way is supposed to work. Last time people were returning them as defective, not! That's the way they are supposed to work, not rigid like a Mongoose.
