Thanks for the heads-up Hector

Like kwsher mentioned earlier, if it has finish blemishes, yes that's bad and you should send it back ASAP. Otherwise, just play with it and use it easy. I have a combat wound that reminds everyday the Cobra Kai Dojo official razor needs to be respected, lol.....

Hector---Just to let you know,it arrived today and the finish is good. I see what you mean about the "play" in the head but it shouldn't bother me.(now that you told me what to expect) It seems like kind of a pivoting action like the oneblade, but not to that extent.

I hope you enjoy it. To me the King Cobra is an indulgence razor. I mostly use it when I'm really relaxing and in no hurry. Just let it glide, don't push the issueBig Grin

Well put! I really enjoy the KC too. Call it Excalibur as when I first used it, felt like I was wielding a broadsword. Delivers up the goods though and pretty intuitive blade angle, etc.

As Hector mentioned, there is a bit of play between the plates but zero chatter on use and with the rigidity of the SE blades actually works great.

Enjoy the new razor beisler !

First shave with the king cobra----I went very carefully with a feather-pro blade. I have had experience with the blade with a SS Goose and I got a much closer shave, with no irritation at all with the king on my first try than I ever did with the Goose. Still the king is a razor you must concentrate on and give the utmost respect to. I only got 1 tiny weeper when at the end of my 3rd and final pass, I was blade-buffing. Very happy with this razor and it now goes into my 2 razor rotation, joining my oneblade. Smile
