Daily calorie aim: 35% protein, 60% fat, 5% carbs
Working out muscles and going on walks, hikes, bike rides as much as I can.and resting enough in between.
Down to within about 4 pounds of my high school weight. I'll get there and surpass it in the next couple weeks.
I feel GREAT. I'm stronger, leaner, and feel ready for anything.
Neroli! Yes, a good regimen and lifestyle. Americans eat like shit, Eat shit, and Pharma gets rich. I fast 2 days a week, and eat one meal a day. At my college weight. I stay away from white stuff [sugar, bread, pasta, taters, rice,] and all processed foods. Seed oils are baaad. Been of use for 20 years. Eggs, nuts, fish, beef, pork and avocados are my staples

Nice Tommy, I didn't know you were low carb too.
Love it, especially now with the higher protein, it takes some of that keto weakness and flips it the bird. Very rarely sore from the exercise too.

One thing I'm also doing, beyond a "high protein" version of keto, is allowing myself cheat days. Yesterday was one of them... Had rice and naan with my Indian dinner........... then had two huge scoops of ice cream in a huge waffle cone.

That's more off the deep end than I like, but I'm okay with it. Internally, I KNOW I'm going to have cheat days, and I KNOW I'm going back on my diet the next day <--- That's the most important part. I feel like I can do this forever.

It's nice. Today, I didn't eat breakfast (I hardly ever do, always been that way), went on a long mountain bike ride (4.5 hours), skipped lunch... My performance was good, energy was perfect, and I'm still not hungry at 4pm and I feel great.

Right on Neroli. I always skip lunch and breakfast. Get my rides b4 dinner. Go with a cheat meal once a week. It is sometimes tough to get back in the saddle after tasting bread and carbs tho

Nice, OMAD, one meal a day.
I used to do that a lot, and still do on occasion.

Shell is just melted shredded cheddar. Amazing! But greasy, so gonna find a lower fat cheddar for this job.

My gallows meal is steak and eggs, with buttered today and hash browns. Got to solve the hashed browns sub.

If I'm going to the gallows, it's gonna be a pound of pasta!

Fresh crusty yeast bread, warm from the oven, and plenty of butter!

So, I've been doing the carnivore diet for about 10 days. Just meat, eggs, butter, and some dairy (and salt). Carnivore is the polar opposite of the vegan diet. No plants, except maybe some spices... some carnivores don't even do spices or dairy.
And now I'm thinking I might cut out the dairy too (even just yesterday, I never thought I'd say that!)... but just saw some videos saying it has a chemical in it that's similar to opioids, where it never makes you satisfied, hence why we can just continuously eat cheese and not get full and just crave more.
Today, I just had beef, eggs, and butter (and salt). No cheese, and I'm so satiated. I just watched a top 10 video of different carnivore foods and I didn't get triggered to eat anything whatsoever...
But - If I'd eaten cheese today, I'd be in the kitchen right now eating more cheese and then dreaming of what else I need to eat!
Interesting...
Obviously, I realize I'm not an expert yet, so nothing conclusive yet. But my pattern so far is exactly what the YouTubers are saying. That thing about dairy/cheese really hit me hard.
