Karve Shaving Co. A new DE Brass razor to market.

Tradere releases on May 2 put it says 4-6 weeks to ship though. Based on track record, definitely seems better to go for the tradere. I'm probably going for neither of them. I would prefer a titanium razor but don't want to get burned by them.

Sit tight. Shane Blackland Razors will be releasing a Ti Blackbird. That will be the best of the 3, for me.

Shane is still working on getting the Ti pricing right so hopefully the Ti BB pans out.

Yea, that's the best option. I'm gonna wait for that ti Blackbird.

Thanks for the 411.  I'd like to think that message was sent because Karve Razors has finally figured out the true meaning of "In Stock".  We'll see.

Well that's a better business model. If the guy can focus on the task at hand, instead of biting off more than he can chew ....

I guess the polished razors will have to wait

I did some reading through the thread, just out of interest, and some of the sentiments are funny.

It seems many people initially liked the D plate (the highest offering at release. Apparently smooth and somewhat efficient (comparisons to Rockwell R6, WR1 standard .61? Gap).

Once E and F plates came out, there was gravitation towards those, with many members preferring F. Apparently smooth but as efficient as blackbird and Timeless .95.

OC plates came out, some mixed reviews. Some people loved and believed smoother with more efficiency. Others stated SB was smoother with equal efficiency.

Then we got to SS and poor customer service and I stopped reading.

Nearly everyone stated the brass was a great deal for the quality of shaves. This led me to two questions:

1. Is the Karve still worth it at titanium price points ($350 CAD)?
2. What plates have stuck with those who still shave with it? What would you buy if you could only get one plate in titanium?

All I want right now are some higher gap aluminum anodized razors or baseplates.

164 pages of posts in this thread say "wishful thinking". He didn't mention on Instagram if the aluminium drop (just plates up to D) has been postponed as well.
