"The best"support! Period. Forever waiting =)
Wow - July 3rd. That is a long time. Sorry to see that and hopefully gets resolved. Was it shipped air or surface (boat)?
A few years ago I sold an Escher hone to a guy in Russia. Took just over a month to get to him. I bought a BBS-1 from a guy in Russia, took a couple of weeks to get to me.

I'm no expert, but I'd suspect that something shipped on July 3rd is lost if it hasn't shown up by now.

Ordered on 10/3/19, received on 10/15/19, Canada to the USA. Not bad considering the customs and what not. Very happy with the G SB plate, and the F OC plate. I had an extra handle, so ordered a top cap, nature abhors a vacuum, so I'm set with plates E SB, F SB & OC, and G SB.

If you'd like to know what it is like to shave with a Wolfman WR2 1.55 gap get the G SB, or F OC plates. Very similar in efficiency. I hooked up both razors with a brand new Wizamet in each, and shaved the left side of my face with the OC, and right side with the SB.

Did my usual WTG/ATG two passes. Smooth as silk. BBS achieved with both razor configurations. I was gambling in getting these two plates, but the gamble paid off. A great addition to my shaving arsenal.

Any further thoughts on the G SB? You have my curiosity now.

Jimmy, how does the G plate compare with the 1.55 wr2 in smoothness? I can't imagine them being even remotely close since I remember the D plate not being very smooth.

Well, I've only shaved with the G SB plate, and F OC plate once. Karve says that the OC is equivalent to the next step up in an SB, so essentially I was shaving with 2 G plates. No, not as smooth as a 1.55 WR2, but the end result was as good in terms of BBS, and I felt no irritation during, nor after the shave.

I'm a long time and seasoned wet shaver. Karve's website says of the plates, " Higher level plates are definitely OK for beginners - safety razors require control of contact pressure and cutting angle to function properly and the higher level plates are more sensitive to good form." I flatter myself that I have 'good form'.

I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, but aside from the razor, the blade, the end user's technique also enter into the equation. I found the G & F plates plenty good, and if I had it to do over again I wouldn't hesitate to buy them. The Karve is a damn good DE. I rate it at the top of my rotation. YMMV.

That's my experience with Karve. Still nothing. Never even thought of such kind of service. This is a terrible attitude to customers. I was lucky and I bought a Karve from Maggardrazors yesterday.
