The only option is handle length. I believe they will notify me when shipped to asked for my plate selection ( I hope). They only use express (Canadian ) shipping but that is okay with me as it will arrive very quickly. Looking forward to this razor. They did indicate shipping will be December 11.
On the website they state-- "Please specify which guard you want when you go through the checkout. If you're not sure which guard you want, I will be confirming each order before they go out and you can still change your mind then."
So they should notify you prior to shipping to confirm your baseplate choice.
Hopefully. If you want an additional plate the process is easy as it gives you a drop down to make a selection.
Agreed. At the drop down menu during checkout it specifies which handle length and optional guards. But nothing on what you would want as standard on the razor. I opted for both C and D plate guards. Hopefully as is stated on their website, I will be contacted on that issue before it ships. Might as well ask for the B guard and use that as a base starting point with this razor.

As said, though, blade exposure is another determining factor in the matter.
Which guards did you end up ordering, if I may ask? Keep us posted on the razor, it truly is an interesting one.
C and D my friend. And hopefully B when I'm contacted before shipping.
