Some vintage Floris Verbena shaving soap sticks arrived today. When a couple wooden shave soap bowls that I ordered from Connaught arrive, I'll grate two of the soap sticks into one of them.

Thanks. Since I'm retired, I have plenty of time to keep an eye out for them. These Verbena ones really smell great.

After yesterday's reminder of this fragrance using MW Pompelmo e Fiori, I went ahead and bought my second bottle of Rancé Le Vainqueur EdP. A wonderful scent with grapefruit amongst the top notes.

A full mail box today. Some shaving soap boxes from Connaught, a box of Acqua di Parma bath soaps, and a tube of vintage Floris No. 89 shaving cream.


I'm going to try lathering the AdP bath soap for shaving, perhaps in my polished stone-inlaid trinket box from Brazil...


Or in my Badger Whisperer mug.

Finally received my Supply Razor. Worth the wait and it has a great weight and feel to it. I got mine with the three interchanging plates.

These two soaps arrived from Ryan @ Tallow + Steel . I have tried so many soaps that there is no way to count over the past decade plus.

My wife declared Grog the best scent in a soap of them all. And she's a tough judge!
