Placed an order with them last November. It literally took 3+ weeks (just under a month) before my ordered arrived. Prior to my order's arrival I had contacted them thru their web-site -- my email was ignored. Vowed never to order from them again. To this day I have yet to use their soaps. YMMV

I have never ordered their products but, WOW, it seems to me that Tiki better work on its customer service and PR or it could find itself in trouble.  There are too many artisan and commercial soaps out there with excellent customer service for Tiki to act like this, at least without a rational explanation.

If I don't get shipping confirmation within a week, I email the vendor and ask why. If they don't reply, my next step is to dispute the charge with PayPal or my credit card. There's no reason to try to track her down.
And unfortunately, I've read many complaints like yours about Tiki.

I had a dispute already opened with my credit card company when my order finally arrived. Canceled the dispute (it took some doing to get all of the charges and credit straightened out, however).

I ordered from Tiki directly a while back. I received a notification with USPS tracking for my order a day or so after I placed the order. After a week passed and nothing showing and nothing updating on the USPS website after the generation of the shipment label (it never showed as being picked up by USPS) I wrote Tiki via the blog on the website and Amanda contacted me and said she would send another shipment out. I ordered $75 worth of items so I thought this odd that they would just send out another with no investigation or comment on what happened to the first one. I know margins are pretty steep for these products but.... Then after receiving that shipments supposed tracking # and waiting a week and a half I started trying to contact again. Story this time was they were having issues with the local post office not sending orders out. It was obvious that this was not the case and I was further irritated about the situation because on social media a product line being produced by Tiki was being praised by the person selling this line. I guess the focus was that special order and nothing else. After several communications and a couple "re-shipments" I finally received my order about 2 months after I placed it. The soap was ok, so I'm not knocking the product. The lack of customer service and straight up fabricated excuses were inexcusable. So yes, place orders for Tiki from vendors if you wish to buy their products. Personally I wont be purchasing any more of their products.

Sounds to me like another artisan to avoid.

I just read a thread in the Soaps and Creams section and it looks like wingdo was able to get in touch with Amanda at Tiki yesterday.

But what about a non-vendor trying to contact them, why haven't they been responding?

I didn't see you reply in this thread saying you were able to get in contact with them...there was a glitch. Tapatalk doesn't show the names when using "@ ABC", so didn't know he was referring to you. It looked like he was referring to himself with a typo (see screenshot).
