Nick, please desist. As Bruce stated above, the use of that word is completely unacceptable in any context here at DFS. End of conversation.

I predicted that and took a screenshot before it was too late, just for the record. I'm not going to post it, if that's what you thought.

You know what? Now I'm sure that the rules of this forum don't apply the same to all members.

I am also a member of TSN. I know most gentlemen that participate here from that forum. I'd like to mention that I've never read a negative thing being discussed about this forum without being deleted within a few minutes by the mods of the forum. On the contrary, here, you leave discussions where people are blaming and bashing that forum without deleting them like others do for you. If you ask me, I think you should be more careful on these matters.

A forum can't survive without rules or when members don't respect them.

Have a good evening.

This thread has totally devolved. Nick, I don't know you at all, but for the record I will remove any reference using the F bomb that I see on this forum no matter who the member is. We only have four forum rules here and language is #2. https://damnfineshave.com/thread-sticky-...lease-read You are not being singled out here.

As far as the OP, it's been fun feeding the troll for the afternoon, but the life of this thread has ended.

Actually, they do.  If you had read my post, above, you would have seen that the same chances and consequences were applied to the member you referred to in the post I just deleted.  We'll find out sometime tomorrow, won't we.  By your own admission, even after a PM to you to stop using the F word here you deliberately did it a second time.  Your last statement, "A forum can't survive without rules or when members don't respect them." shows how little you follow your own admonition.  If you have forgotten our site rules, I have posted them below.  You might take note of Rule #2.  Yet, you have been given a couple of chances and are still here and have not been banned.

We hold off as long as possible before banning someone and I am sorry you seem to think that we do not treat all members fairly.  While different sites may work with a different set of rules for its members and may even have slightly different goals, I think you'll find that none of the administrators or moderators want anything but smooth sailing for their sites.  How that is achieved may vary but that desire for smooth sailing is a universal.  For a member or members to disagree is fine.  To deliberately disrupt is not.

I won't be breaking this rule in the forums (plenty of time to be thoughtful with responses), but if this rule applies at any meet ups I might get into trouble.

Does anyone recall the youtube video from a year or so ago that featured a young man giving a demonstration of shaving with a double edged razor? He dry shaved and cut the daylights out of himself but persevered through the whole process like it was normal. Thats what I was hoping for here Big Grin Good times

That video was funny as hell. I'm STILL trying to figure out if that guy was trolling or serious.

Yeah, I tried to find it but no luck, wasn't sure what to put in the search field. If he was trolling he had to be a bit of a masochist. Or super dedicated and willing to suffer for his art.

That guy was insane. Isn't "no pressure" the first thing you hear when starting to shave with a safety razor?
