Seems like things deteriorate rapidly after 4 shaves based on the first blade trialed. Any others with more sight pictures on this blade?

Like nacet a lot. Sharp and smooth but my experience will match yours. 3 or 4 shaves and done.

I usually bin a blade at 7 shaves max if it can make it and rarely these days exceed 5.

I don't use DE's very often but my understanding is the Nacet is quite sharp so like the Feather I would have assumed 4 shaves would be pretty good. It seems strange to me but I recall coming across a guy on YouTube with over 200 shaves with a Nacet along with surprising results with other blades as well.

I usually get 4-5 shaves from Nacet blades.

The first ever Nacet I used I took up to 11 shaves. It was impressive.

After that one, I’ve been using them up to about 5–7 shaves. (It might be good to add that I only do two passes per shave.)

You are wise to define the metrics! Please to allow a clarification of the original post:

“Seems like things deteriorate rapidly after 4 3pass shaves based on the first blade trialed. Any others with more sight pictures on this blade bearing in mind that am essentially getting 12 good passes/blade and so framing their results in that framework?”

But are the 2nd and 3rd pass as demanding of the blade as the first?

This is something I’ve often thought about, and I would imagine that they are not – especially if shaving more than one day of growth (well, depending on stubble growth rate, of course). Often, the first pass is expended clearing away some serious wire for a much smoother second pass.
