Not my best blade, but it does last a long time. I don't really count shaves, but have gotten 3 weeks easily without pushing the blade. That's almost daily, doing 3-passes.

Yes there is, in fact he just posted a few images from his 240th shave with that blade.  Looks BBS for sure!

It would be a weird thing to lie about, and he posts all his shaves on youtube so the evidence is probably all there if you go back far enough. His username is sgrdddy on reddit

I pay no attention to any wet shaver with any type of beard/goatee/Van Dyke as it's not the same. A monkey could get 50 shaves out of any blade merely shaving their cheeks. No thanks.

Ha, well call me a monkey as I have a round beard (mustache and goatee connected). I’ve gotten 3-5 shaves out of the Nacets.
Still haven’t decided if I would ever buy them again. Since Covid 19 I’ve been skipping around with a few different DE razors (5 I believe) I had pretty much stopped doing that.  If I’ve had 3 shaves on them and switched to a different razor I binned the blade and started fresh.

Do others have the experience that particular blades pair well with particular razors and yet may be terrible with others, even those sharing similar shave characteristics and dimensions?

Yes, to some degree (pun intended) as I think the hone degree of angle of a particular blade factored in with a razor's blade gap/exposure do play a part. As well, the cone of dispersion, or "sweet spot", of a given razor comes into play also and how well the shaver can hold within it. Stacking tolerances add up so to speak. Regardless, I can get a good shave with damn near any modern stainless blade when good prep & a good soap are in play. But, I would be intellectually dishonest not to say that the best Gillette blades "milk" out that last bit of smoothness (sharpness) that really make a marked difference.

Just as an example, the last few days I have been shaving one side of my face with a superb bonafide Super Gillette Blue Blade (made by Gillette in Shanghai) and the other side with a run of the mill blade. Yesterday it was a new lower tier Gillette India 365 blade and today with the bare bones Wilkinson Sword Economie blade, new as well. Two razors used and were both Gillette post-war Techs loaded with their respective blades. I used Zingari Sego yesterday and A&E Frozen Mojitos today. In other words, the playing field was as level as I could make it.

The Chinese Super Gillette Blue Blade shaved as always, simply spectacular. It's easily on the same level as their Russian varieties IMO. The other two aforementioned blades shaved 95% as good, but for those who can tell a difference there is a factor of smoothness (sharpness) that pushes a top tier blade ahead. It's simply worth it in the long haul IMO to use a top tier blade, that is if you actually like shaving.  Wink
