I like how the homelike shaving is fluid with the market and the shavers, changing and adding as the need is present.

He is following feedback pretty well. Hope he will have better polishing option, and different handles.

This is great to hear and can’t wait to get these new plates when available!!

we tested their effectiveness and suitability
1.3 SB - really liked the work. Will be made in the fifth installment of Start. This is January 2020.
1.3 OC - a decision on the need for its production has not yet been made. Will depend on the tests, including on your forum gentlemen)
Thanks to SK89 for agreeing to help us with this.

My last three shaves with the START included two days with the 0.90 SB and yesterday with the 0.90 OC. Blade of choice was a Kai SS. I will use either the 0.90 OC or the 1.18mm later this morning.

I will echo some of the comments/thoughts regarding the 0.90mm being a very nice combination of the 0.69mm and 1.18mm. It is definitely more efficient than the 0.69mm and smoother than the 1.18mm making it a great daily shaver.

Yesterdays shave was with the 0.90 OC and, although I don’t use an OC very often, this plate is what makes me want to get a START razor. I found the plate to be very smooth with some blade feel and after a 3-pass shave, I only needed a few areas of cleanup to get a BBS shave.

Overall, I’ve been impressed with the START razor. Of the four plates, my favorites are the 0.90mm OC and the 1.18mm SB. For the price point of the razor, I do think it is a good value. As for the handle…I love the design but I would really to see more grip to it. Several times during my shaves I had to wipe my fingers on the alum block as I felt the handle was getting too slippery.

I will be sending the razor off to dominicr shortly. Thanks again to Homelike for doing the pass-around!

Nice thoughts that pretty much mirrored mine. Great job.

I think mirrored many of us. Many like 1.18SB more which is pretty smooth and efficient plate. And Many wished to have more grip in the handle to avoid slippery.

I’m going to request to be removed from the list. I never use DE anymore and will be a poor choice to review this item.

I shaved with the OC plate again this morning.  Very similar results as yesterday...smooth and efficient, a 3-pass shave with a bit of touch-up resulting in BBS.  But I did switch out the handle and used my Maggard MR7.  Having the "grippier" handle really made the shave more enjoyable as I didn't have to worry about the razor slipping.
