I’d like to try the west coast razor. I believe I’m in the same city as one person on the list and can pick up if helpful.

3 shaves in with the Start. 1.18 then .90 then 1.18 all SB. All shaves were extremely smooth and not much noticeable difference between the 2 plates in feel but the 1.18 is certainly a big step up in efficiency both in less strokes and duration of BBS. I would put the .90 in the range of my Ti Timeless .95 SB both in feel and efficiency, the 1.18 is a definite step up, more in the range of my CG level 3 vers2, Wolfman WR2 1.45 Ti for efficiency and smoothness. The workmanship is excellent but the finish is a step down compared to the ones I mentioned. I think I would like a little deeper knurling on the handle but it still is not slippery it reminds me of the Paradigm 17-4 handle.

That 1.18 sound like the cat's meow.

I lately recognized they have different handle options.
Probably need to separately get head and which handle prefer.

Thank You, I did not see these choices. I really love the look of the one it came with and it has excellent balance, I just would deepen the knurling if I was to make it.
