My Shaving Gear:
Homelike Start 1.18 vs. Paradigm Ti V1
Mammoth Clean Soaps and AS
LangleyCity Handle + Oumo 28mm SHD Bulb Knot
Wizamet

Before I compare safety razors, I would like to mention about my other shaving gears.

When I compared Mammoth with my other favorite soap GroomingDept, Mammoth soaps are giving thinner and slicker lather than GroomingDept.
GroomingDept soaps love lots of water, and give nice thick lather easily. And this gives nice protection.
But when I use my straight razors or my aggressive safety razors, I love to use a thinner, and slicker soap.

I pretty like to have artisan handles from WolfWhiskers, TurnNShave, ThatDarnRob, GrizzlyBay, WildWest, BrushGuy, etc.
Whenever, I would like to go for custom order, Kyle from LangleyCity is the first person I like to contact with, owing to his super easy-going personality.
We lately built a nice Superman Handle for one of my friend together, it was so much fun to work with him. He made a small video for this nice superman handle, I attached the link below.

As far as I know, Oumo SHD knots are the same knots as Maggard SHD. They are super dense and have nice gel-tips.
Oumo has more variety of options like Silvertip SHD Knots, their new SHD Hook finest knots. Their prices are very reasonable.

I used fresh Wizamet blades. I got these wizamet blades from eBay, I do not know they are original or not. I am suspicious since it was written on the package that they made in 2017.  But even they are not original Wizamet blades, they are pretty sharp and smooth.

Now, let's discuss razors. I got two pass (WTG-ATG) shave.
Both razors had nice amount of blade feeling. I felt like Homelike had slightly more blade feeling than Paradigm.
Nice amount of blade feeling gives me signals to keep the angle and apply the pressure as well as possible.
During the first pass, Homelike removed a bit more hair than Paradigm, I could say Homelike was slightly more efficient razor.
But at the end of two passes, I got excellent BBS shaves with both razors.
Both razors were super smooth, hard to say which one was smoother more.
I am looking forward to read your reviews.
Hope everyone will enjoy with Homelike as much as I did.

Nice write up my friend. Looking forward to trying out the 1.18 but, I'm going to try out the .90 OC plate first tonight to see how that compares with other modern & vintage open combs.

Good looking gear....  Happy2

Can a guy from St. Louis get in on this? There might even be a nice surprise in the box when I get done.

Finally got the 1.18 polished ordered after getting nowhere with Paypal. Word to the wise, do the guest checkout and use a credit card instead of logging in to your PayPal account for purchase. I just happened to try that this afternoon and it worked. The thing that sucked is they are out of the OC plate for now but looking forward to trying this razor in the 1.18 SB gap!

It could be nice, if Homelike is going to make 1.18 OC, too.
Actually, if he can make one more kit with 0.9 SB/OC and 1.18 SB/OC, will be awesome.
