Yes I see I think this is the problem as the razor is so heavy if you put even a small amount of pressure you will notice it more and get more irritation then with a lighter razor, so do you think shaving with heavy razors is a good idea to develop a light touch and not adding pressure?

As so much in this hobby it’s very subjective.
I prefer a heavier razor, but I can also shave with an ultra lightweight one (I own the super lightweight Henson Medium Aluminium Copper coloured razor among many other DE razors)
