Both a bit of a let down to be honest. Gillette Guard is IMO the ultimate clog proof cart and other than the very cheap feel of the handle it felt OK initially. Then I got nicks on a couple spots, definitely not an MR3 or HeadBlade Moto smooth. BTW, I had a couple very very nice shaves with the moto this week. I think I shines on every day to every other day shaves.

I need to stop procrastinating and buy some replacement blades for my headblade sport.  does anyone have a list of compatible blades it can use?

There is a lot of confusion/disinformation/omission on headblade razor/blade compatibility. Seems like HB is going the proprietary blade route.
When you have a razor you need to know what cart type it came with to know what holder you have.
This is what I learned from the admin at a another forum.
There are three adapters/holders: sensor (only for sensors), HB2-3 (atra and other 2-blade cartridges), and HB4-6 (dorco pace 4 and 6, with a small mod to make it work). At some point these holders were easily distinguishable by color, but that no longer applies.
Now, the thing is HB says holders are not 100% interchangeable, yet some users say the moto takes all 3 holders while HB's website suggests and implies it only takes the HB4-6 holder/adapter. IME, HB doesn't give definitive answers and instead gives an answer around the following lines: "it was designed to take the blades our users favored on previous models and that is the HB4".

yeah, we'll see how it goes. I think I bought 10 sensor blades and 8 tri-flexxx.

lloydrm couple that are my go to are the timeless 95, R41, ' the ATT H1. Over the years, I've found more efficient / aggressive razors are the way to go on my head. Anything mild or mid-aggressive just doesn't get me to the BBS stage on my grape. I've tried everything from my DE89, DOC, Headblade moto, slants......the Timeless 95 is my first choice now. I run 2 passes and touch ups. Try a more efficient razor and see what you think. Blade wise, Feather and Silver Blues are my tops. Keep playing with stuff, it'll all come together

Interesting. I tried with an ATT R1 as I remember it as a good face shaver but the blade flexed too much, especially in the ATG pass on the back of my head where it stalled so I moved immediately to another razor to finish the job. Will try shimming the TL 68. Good idea! Thanks!

I got in my gillette sensor & personna tri-flexxx blades as well as my feather mr3 razor. I'm going to give my headblade sport another go tonight with 1 of the personna blades loaded up in it.

I have been shaving my head for about two years now. I only shave every other week, and I start by using clippers with a very close blade prior to shaving. I use a good quality soap or cream after I shower. With DEs I have had my best luck with the Rockwell 6c using the R2 plate or the Lord L6. For SEs I have had good luck with the OneBlade Genesis v1 razor paired with a feather blade.

Has anyone used the Razorock SLOC on their noggin? If so, what do you think of it?

I use the Yaqi version, same razor, mild (not as mild as the PAA original or the Shave King), but moderately efficient.

I used the headblade with a personna tri-flexxx blade and bee bald shaving cream last night. The shave went fine and the blades rinsed cleanly under water without too much effort. I still had to use my mach 3 to clean up my neck, around my ears and my sideburns though - I have a beard.
