Good news, I've just been offered the loan of a N075Al... so I can run my own tests!
Excellent congratulations!! Glad you're able to try it out. I don't think I uploaded my comparison between the Silversmith and H&S so I'm going to go grab that since you're interested in that razor aswell.

BaseKote is responsible for the colouration and mild feel of the H&S black aluminium baseplate. It is a treatment that provides a hardened slick coating to Al vastly superiour to anodization and why the H&S Al plate can be cleaned in Barbicide unlike other razors employing Al

Forgot to upload my comparisons of the H&S vs the Masamune Top Cap with Nodachi Base Plate on the face & The H&S vs the Colonial Silversmith on the dome. The tatara comparison isn't a showdown, more of a test but I can say the H&S was unsurprisingly smoother and similar efficiency. The Silversmith was noticeably smoother then the H&S on the dome shave but the H&S was noticeably more efficient, so it depends on what you're looking for. Both we're very comfortable as expected. I do need to compare them with a couple more blades atleast so I'm going to do that today before sending them out to the next guy!

I know it’s not your highest priority, but I’m just curious.

Enjoy the shaves.

Sorry, the CG doesn't fit. The slots in the N075 baseplate are the wrong size.

Aji asked that people be reminded:

10 minutes in Barbicide Is all any razor requires, not 20 minutes nor all day - more is not better and can damage razor finishes

I'm sure you know this but

Nodachi baseplate + Masamune cap is still neg exposure = -0.03
Masamune baseplate + Nodachi cap = neutral

Thanks for all your videos. Looking forward to testing out the N075 v Tatara in all configurations (I have everything other than the Nodachi OC plate) on the face.

You're welcome! Thanks for bringing that to my attention, haven't looked at the chart in a while so I completely forgot it was -.03 exposure vs neutral. So I'll keep that in mind for future videos to not give misinformation. Oh that's awesome! Excited to hear your thoughts aswell. The tatara is still my favorite razor overall but I think the H&S might dethrone it someday if I get one and use it a lot.

Speaking of videos. Here's the last 2 videos I made before sending the razor out to the next dude. On my face, I tested out the Colonial Silversmith vs. the H&S N075. Although the Silversmith was smoother on the dome shave last time with gillette nacets and permasharps, this time around on the face with gillette silver blues, I found the H&S to be smoother and more comfortable. I would say the H&S is noticeably more efficient then the Silversmith too. On my dome, I used the Tatara Nodachi Cap with Masamune Baseplate vs. H&S N075 with GSB in both and had very similar results. Both felt incredibly smooth it was really hard to tell which was smoother. The H&S was noticeably a bit more efficient though. Both demolished 2 days growth with 2 ATG passes with ease!
