Second shave today. After using a Nacet for the first shave I decided to go to what is tried & true in my P076, Feather. I switched a couple of months ago to using a Feather in my P076 & must say it delivers the smoothest, most efficient shave in my den.

I scooped & lathered the Vor V soap today. Both Wholly Kaw soaps I've used in this pass-around have been easy to load & lather. The Siero base provides a great cushion & slickness. Both scents are light, which is good for me because I prefer soaps that aren't heavily scented. Another indicator of a good soap is its residual slickness. I was easily able to touch up & buff with plenty of residual slickness from the soap. This is a very good soap, no question about that.

The razor with a Feather glides over my face. The razor is an instrument that fits my hand & moves with ease. I used the SB side for this shave. I've been shaving with my P076 a couple of months almost exclusively, so I have at least 25 - 30 shaves with it. I'm so used to using the P076 I find it to be a very easy & relaxing shave, yet super-efficient, too. When I use a steep angle I get more audible feedback but only a slight increase in blade feel. With a shallow angle & a new Feather, I hardly feel or hear the razor slide over my face. This is a masterful design, & fortunately, it has also been masterfully produced.

The WK Vor V splash was a nice finish. Mild scent & alcohol, good combination in my book! My face still feels great.

I'm about 4 hours removed from my shave as I write this. I've got a great shave that will last at least until morning. I'm looking forward to my next shave when I try the WK cream with balm. Isn't it great when you can look forward to your next shave? I sure am! Thank you H&S for making this exquisite razor & thank you Wholly Kaw for providing stellar soap & post-shave products. Thank you both for your efforts to make wet shaving a most pleasing experience.

Aji has created a masterpiece, IMHO, with the P076. Regardless of the material (titanium, copper, 17-4 SS, or 316 SS), this razor delivers a smooth & efficient shave. This particular razor crafted from 316 stainless steel is priced significantly lower than his other P076 razors, & should be thought of (along with other materials used for the P076) as one of the best razors available on the market, regardless of price. My shaves are effortless, shallow or steep. Once you dial it in, you are aware you are using an exceptional instrument. I focus & thoroughly enjoy my shaves.  I'm focused not because I have to be careful to not get bit. I focus because I want to take in every shave. This razor enhances my shave experience by giving me an elite instrument that yields elite results. This is in contrast to many razors that give me really good shaves with some degree of work on my part. I'm not working with the P076, the P076 is one with me!

I had the pleasure of using the Wholly Kaw La Supérieure Shave Cream Dulci Tobacco today. First time in a long time for me to use cream. So quick & easy to lather. As with the soaps, this is a mild scent that was pleasant. I was not expecting as much cushion & slickness from the cream compared to soap. I was wrong, this performed very well. The Bare Naked Balm was dispensed out of the coolest looking bottle I've seen. A little goes a long way. I like the fact that it is unscented so it can go with any post-shave scent you want for the day. Well done Wholly Kaw!

The razor safely arrived yesterday afternoon. I had a long day, but decided to use it at 11pm for a night shave. As expected from H&S Co, everything from the packaging to the razor is top quality. I prefer more of a utilitarian look so the black plastic case is perfect. Tough and protects the razor. The razor itself is polished like a fine piece of jewelry. The full knurled handle feels great in the hand, and the razor has very good balance. The handle feels hollow, as it is lighter than my solid SS handles of similar length, which gives the razor a very nice feel. I unexpectedly liked all the scents of the WK products. Its unexpected because I have had a hard time finding scents I like out of all their other soaps. I'll need to run them by the GF, but may have some winners on hand here. I chose Vor V for my maiden shave tonight.

Blade of choice was a new Gillette Platinum, which is my benchmark blade for all new razors. Loaded the soap from my CC copper bowl, and proceeded to palm lather a beautiful lather. The Siero base impresses me more everytime I use it. I had three days growth and decided to use the OC on the right side of my face, and SB on the left. The razor took down everything without a problem. I felt the SB side was slightly smoother. I performed one WTG pass, and a second XTG pass to complete my shave. On the second pass the SB again felt smoother. Alum showed some minor irritation on the OC side of my face, with barely any sting on the SB side. The results were close, and even with some irritation my right (OC) side felt slightly smoother. Darn near BBS in two passes. Cleaned up, and applied the matching AS splash. Some slight sting, but my face felt refreshed and smooth after it dried. I've shaved with the Ti and 17-4 PO76 razors in former passarounds, and this razor has shaved the best so far. Those two caused irritation and some rough shaves. Could just be me improving on my technique and lather, but I was very impressed with this razor on the first shave. Excited for the rest of the week!

Thank you. I really enjoyed the N075 and most recently the Z074, which has replaced all other razors as my comfortable daily shaver. I’m curious to give the P076 a try as well but I’m afraid I’ve gotten a bit spoiled by Ti razors lately.

Your call. Fit and especially finish on P series razor really is best in industry; a much higher level than N or Z series. Let me know if interested
