It definitely has a woodiness to it. Kind of cologne-like, yet...not. There's a powdery freshness (unlike barbershop powdery, though) that keeps it light and balances out the woody notes, keeping the scent lighter and cleaner."

Thank you, Mo! Fabulous job on this scent. Very tough to describe. So, from your perspective, how'd I do?  Am I close? Close-ish?

Mail call - just received my shipment from GD.  Scent off the puck on the Mallard 2023 Soap is really nice - clean with the Iris note being nicely balanced. Definitely great for the summer.  Can't wait to lather up. Thanks again to Mo for his work.

Great shave yesterday with GD Chamomile & Lemon.  Wonderful scent and great face feel from this Kairos 2023 base. 

I don’t see sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide in the ingredient list for these soaps (or the other GD soaps I have).  What’s being used in their place, I wonder?  It could be a great thing for people with dry skin like me!

(Never mind about the hydroxides. The ingredients in Mo’s soaps have undergone saponification, so while hydroxides were used they are not present in the soap)
