I'm often tempted to carry a jar of Luxor around with me just to smell it once in a while .

Funny you suggest that as we use open tubs of Aion as room fresheners in a few seldom used spaces about the house.

I have excess soaps in my collection as I try to add newer, better soaps to my collection each year and retire older, less capable soaps from my rotation. There are some soaps whose scents I like, but the performance of the soap no longer meets my expectations. In that case, I have used an open tub of soap as an air freshener. 

I do have a tub of Luxor. I love the scent and occasionally take the top off just to smell it. However, the performance of the Kairos SE 2023 edition is so good that i would never consider using it as an air freshener.

   To you or whoever else has the Luxor, is it a fruity scent or more of a citrus smell. 
I like fruity smelling but not so big on the lemon type citrus is why I'm curious.  
I realize we all have different sniffers too, and pick up notes differently at times.

This base isn't entirely new; it's actually a slight modification of the Kairos base. However, it produces a wonderfully dense lather.

Ingredients: Water, Stearic Acid, Beef Tallow, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Kokum Butter, Castor Oil, Tucuma Butter, Avocado Oil, Glycerin, Coconut Milk, Goat Milk, Cupuacu Butter, Shea Butter, Apricot Kernel Oil, Collagen Peptides, Whey Protein, Betaine, Fragrance, Lauryl Laurate, Jojoba Oil, Lanolin, Colloidal Oatmeal, Rice Bran Wax, Meadowfoam Oil, Linoleic Acid, Ethylhexyl Olivate, Hydrogenated Olive Oil, Isostearic Acid, Allantoin, Sodium Lactate, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Gluconate, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Tocopherols, Silk Peptides.

The scent notes of Luxor are: Mandarin, Fruit Accord, Spices, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Vetiver.

There may be some lemon in the fruit accord, but this is not a citrus-forward scent. My face is quite sensitive to lemon, lime and grapefruit, so I have to be quite careful of citrus scents. This soap does not cause me irritation. As with most Grooming Dept scents, this one is a complex yet well blended such that it is nearly impossible to pick out the specific scent notes unless you have the nose of a perfumer. Although this is a fruity scent, it is also spicy and woody. I consider it to be a "perfume grade" scent, even though it is not EdP strength.

Nearly identical, but it has some ingredients to make it fresher and brighter.
