You might want to keep The Lady in Gold (aka Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I) in the the back of your mind too.  Also by Klimt, this painting has a powerful and moving history.

Thank you HighSpeed Another Klimt is planned for Valentines Day. The soap is called Amare. I'll make sure it's not soupy this time Wink
Also beautiful!  Brief digression:

We were in Belgium some years back for our nephew's wedding.  Mrs. Highspeed saw a lovely tapestry of The Kiss, about 88cm x 65cm.  She fell in love with it on the spot, so we shipped it home, framed it, and hung it at the head of the dining room table.  We hosted an open house this New year's Day, and the painting (tapestry) got a lot of attention.  I'm sure Amare will too. Smile
I def like the Valentines Day label! The Tentazione Temptation of Eve is a fan fav for ME, but I like controversial, lol.  The new label is cool and you’re the Artisan so you get to have some fun and change it it, fresh new clothes!

The Lady in Gold represents so much more than just art.  Mrs Highspeed has very nice taste, The KISS, another great work!

Check out Alejandro Romero, It’s Baroque Expressionism, some real fun stuff!

Thanks very much ExtraProtein, both for the kind words about Mrs. HighSpeed and for the intel on Alejandro Romero. I will pass along the kind words to Mrs. H. As for Romero, even a brief look at copies of his work is intriguing, and it obviously takes much more attention to appreciate him.

Used the new Kairos base this morning and it was stellar in every way. It really does resemble ice cream but it made some of the richest, slickest lather that I have ever had and that is saying a lot considering how many soaps I have tried and how many different GD soaps that I own. Really looking forward to this one. It resembles a “croap” in many ways but he is also using this base to do his new shaving cream as well. Can’t wait. Here are a few pics that I took. I used about a teaspoon full in the bottom of my bowl and went for it. The results were stunning!

I too have been testing Kairos and I think I have just found the Holy Grail of Shave Soaps.

I received a sample three days ago. For my first shave, I scooped out an almond size amount of Kairos and placed it in my copper lathering bowl. I proceeded to lather and added drops of water additions as I built the lather. Near the end, I was in a hurry and I accidentally dumped a whole handful of water in the bowl. It ruined the lather but I shaved with it anyway. I should have started over because the lather was too thin. Regardless of the over hydration, it was very slick and my shave results were very close and comfortable. At this point, I was thinking I preferred Janus Vegan or Lusso better.

On the second day, I smeared an almond size amount on my cheeks and proceeded to face lather. The lather was thin and low structure again but once again produced an awesome slick and irritation free shave. I felt like it was difficult to build the lather. Once again, I over hydrated and lather was flinging off the brush and all around the sink. Post shave was extremely comfortable 5-6 hours after the shave.

This evening I completed a test lather without shaving. I have read rave reviews of Kairos so I wanted to know where I was going wrong in lathering. I realized what I had to do was to remove the sample from the small 1” wide sample container and place it in a 3” wide empty soap tub. This allowed me to properly swirl and load the brush with more soap. Once I then started adding small amounts of water, the lather grew into a creamy luxurious dense protective lather with zero bubbles. I test lathered on my hand but I can’t wait to shave with Kairos in the morning. I realized I just needed to load the brush with more of it. With great shave results after botching the first few lathering attempts, I can’t wait to see how it shaves now that I learned how to dial it in.

Finally, the scent is a pleasant faint floral that reminds me of orchids or some other rare beautiful flower.

Agree on the donkey base combo as my favorite but I must give props to the vegan.

Sorry of I'm missing the obvious but what's Donkey base Combo, the Combo  part  is what I'm unsure about?
