I picked up Maleki, Charbon, Luxor and Melody from West Coast Shaving. My kids purchased Incense & Oud and Boomer on the GD wedsite as Christmas gifts for me.

I can’t wait to see what these scents will smell like.

I do say Stirling has some excellent soaps at this price range. Packed with scent of all kinds

How about performance? The same? Different?

Much bettter! Fortis' residual slickness is on another level compared to Stirling's.
I'm one that doesn't care for "post shave" as that what aftershaves are for. I only care about residual slickness so I appreciate an offering from Mo at a lower price point.

Unum is inspired by several fragrances I have smelled Smile It also has many references to other GD incense compositions, and it borrows a couple of notes from Aion. I hope this helps.

Thank you very much, Mo! To me it's as good as it can get! Keep up the good work!

Finally got a chance to use the Nirvana base sample that Mohammad sent me and this one is very interesting. This one is just about all butters and maybe one oil. I put a scoop of it in my bowl and worked up some lather very quickly. I shook my brush out 4 times and should have done one more shake because at first the lather had that thin fluffy look after about 30 seconds but I kept working it and got the lather to a nice consistency. This one is going to create a ton of thick rich lather with a small amount of soap. I used a twice used Feather blade in my Paradigm Diamondback and this base provides a ton of cushioning and protection. I forgot that Mo told me not to use pre or post shave so I used my pre version 2 but remembered not to use post shave serum and this base has a similar post shave feel to the Nai base. I shaved around 6pm this evening and it’s 11:15 now and I am still feeling the smoothness of the shave and the post shave feel. I am really interested in this particular base because there are no additives in it from what Mo told me. He can speak more on it but I really like this one and even the feel of the lather is a bit different in a good way. I will post some pics on my Instagram page tomorrow once I can get some in daylight. The main thing I am interested in is how will it hold up over time because of it being made up of various butters. Can’t wait to see what scent he puts to this one when it comes out.
Mo is one of the most innovative minds in the shave soap industry by a mile. I will say that this one has some similar post shave qualities to Jabonman Eufros newest soaps but in its own unique way.
The picture is after I had finished 2.5 passes and I still had a ton of lather.

I’m looking forward to trying Nirvana!!!!

I received Luxor in the mail today from West Coast Shaving. It has a nice clean smell.  None of the individual scents notes sticks out and it blends together in a nice fresh clean cologne scent.  The mandarin and fruit is really well balanced by the wood; not sweet and not too woody. It is firm and well cured. I will shave with it the morning and post some photos and impressions.[Image: BlOhEtC.jpg]

Lots of bases to choose from, and I'm sure they are all fantastic. I'm looking for info where people have compared bases and probably the slight differences.
Aion is on order with Mo, so I'll get to try that one.

Mo,

Any chance you can bring back the Voyage scent in Lusso? Almost finished with my sample of the Janus and I just love the clean scent.
