Has anyone received their Veritas from West Coast Shaving yet?

Mine arrived today and appears to be a rather gooey mess.

I have a strong suspeciom I received a slightly more cured tub from the original soupy batch.

It also came with some hairs in the soap. So maybe I got a returned tub or something...

Not happy.

That’s unfortunate about the hairs but imo you got the better of the 2 batches. I traded my replacement tub for a tub of the original batch as the scent is better and this formula performs better for me.

Did you have a tub of the original lusso release, coattails?

That sucks about the hairs but the softer original formula is the better of the 2. If you leave the top off for a couple days, it will firm up.

For those of you that are also into Fragrances, and have the Jasmine + Civet soap. Is there a cologne/EdP/EdT that matches it?

I just received my Veritas from WCS. It is a tub of goo. Given that the first release had serious issues and needed to be solved by replacement of each order I would have expected that Mo and WCS would have been vigilant about sending out another batch of uncured and not ready product. I am a supporter of Mo ( I have 10 plus soaps and the post shave serum). WCS has always been a responsible vendor.  I really do not want to believe these are returned tubs that have been recycled. I am very disappointed to say the least. Yes, I can leave it open and let it cure but why is that our responsibility? Unacceptable!

The first Veritas I got was the harder one. Then I was offered one of these gooey tubs. I am with Kehole....the gooey one is the better of the two. I load in the container for just about everything, but I load this in a small bowl. If I had it to do over again, I'd still keep the soft one.

I don’t think anyone that got the first batch ever sent them back. Mo never requested them back but went ahead and sent a second tub at no charge. That’s how a bunch of us got 2 tubs.

I sent both of you PMs if you would like to return the soaps. I'm sorry that's it's not to your liking. I'd be happy to send you labels to return the soaps to me and I will issue you full refunds.

The initial goo batch from Mohammad, which was released several weeks ago, caused a real uproar. However, most people tried it and liked it from what I read. I liked mine.

I would encourage you to not get too upset and give it a try.

Re-read the posts and that seems to be the general opinion. I will give it a shot first. Does smell great......
