I haven't tried this soap base but at the risk of offending I'll say this - I have several GD soaps in tallow (beef, duck, lamb) and I regard them very highly. I just picked up a couple of jars of MDC from Top of the Chain and they are very good but, I like GD better on every criteria. Price, performance, scent. I don't think GD needs to pay homage to MDC, maybe MDC can pay homage to GD. Thats just my opinion. I've got many shaves in with GD and only a few with MDC so maybe my opinion will evolve over time. Stranger things have happened.

Take your time, I've been following everything that's been going on and you're doing a great job. High demand for a one man show must be quite difficult so please take your time.

I’ve used many also...with the same results. But..this one actually does work!! And works great!

The scented versions are VERY lightly scented..like 1-2/10. I actually prefer my Lavandar one over the Unscented. And no, it doesn’t at all interfere with any of my soap scents.

GD preshave definitely improved my shave experience with non-elite soaps. I have not had the time to test with elite-soaps yet.

I have to agree. After using my first few GD soaps, both of my MDC were sold.
