Been using Mandarin bay for a couple days now and I have to say im very impressed. The donkey milk with duck and lamb tallow is crazy good. I wish the soap was a bit harder so I don't use as much but this stuff if slick slick slick. It has the cushion needed and the post shave is crazy that you don't need any aftershave but why not when you have the rejuvenation serum! This will be hard to improve upon when it comes to soap bases, as of now in my opinion this is the is top tier soap base out there unless someone is able to add unicorn milk and Sasquatch tallow to a soap!

I'm delighted everyone is enjoying the DonkeyMilk/Duck/Lamb. This base is now part of the ongoing bases and will be called "Donkey Base". The next two releases in the base are. Not ETA yet but soon

I still go with "Lusso" as #1, but two shaves in, Mandarin Bay is running neck-and-neck. However, two shaves is too early to tell. Either way, it is nice to hear that "Donkey Base" will be around.

This Donkey Base must be premium stuff. I'm still here, thoroughly enjoying the Primus base with 'Wonderland' and 'Tao'.
I'll have to try and get my hands on some of the 'DDL' formula.
What's the best way to get a heads up on a release? They always seem to be sold out whenever I check the site.

Any chance for an unscented donkey base?

I have not met a GD base that I did not like! They all perform phenomenally with some subtle differences. That said, I will continue to purchase GD soaps based more upon the scent description than what base is used.
