Mo - what is your estimate of the shelf life for the preshave? It doesn't look like you've got any preservatives in it (which is not a complaint). I'm tempted to try to stock up on it but I don't want to end up with a bunch of rancid jars.

I've only got one shave under my belt with the preshave but it was impressive. Thanks!

Hi bobmsp The preshave has high ph just like soap. I suggest not to stock pile it and use it instead. The formula will evolve, just like the rest of Grooming Dept products Smile

That the formula will evolve is sound advice but roughly how long should it last on shelf? Curious here as well

I have jars that are about a year old now and don't exhibit any issues whatsoever. If something happens to the preshave, please return for refund. I hope you find the answer satisfactory.

Well, after yesterday's shave, I really didn't need a shave this morning. But in the interest of shaving science...Smile

So, I chose a very lightly scented soap (ABC). It's one of the very, very few soaps that has ever caused even the slightest bit of irritation upon lathering on the face.

Then I paired it with one of the Grooming Dept's pre shaves. I picked one that I thought would 'clash'. I chose the Lavender, as I thought this would not get along well with the almond in the ABC.

The lavender scent was mild but pleasant, and I was able to smell the light scent of the ABC when lathered, and the lavender pre shave went way into the background.

As an added bonus, I didn't get the irritation that I usually get when I face lather the ABC. I attribute this to the effects of the pre shave.

I'm sorry, I can't come wth a date yet. I'm missing the top caps. I ordered them on Dec 14. The vendor thought they're on their way to their warehouse, but the manufacturer still hasn't gotten back the to the vendor Smile

I'll take a mandarin & cardamom. Just put it in a tupperware container. Big Grin

Used the preshave and aftershave serum and it has changed my mind on what a fancy shave should be
