The performance of the soap paired with the pre shave is just superb. I was fortunate enough to have tested a sample of an early version of the pre shave, and the released version is an improvement. I was concerned about whether the pre shave would affect the glide factor of the soap, and it simply doesn't. The combination provided a beautiful lather, easy shaving with a straight, and a post-shave feel that is fantastic.

Bravo!

I get crazy and obsessive about interesting ingredients Smile This is one of them. I have been trying it for a while in the alcohol free aftershave. I've now added it to the upcoming Janus Vegan base. Overtime it'll be in all the other formulae.

• A true moisturizer, controls water balance in skin
• Strengthens skin barrier
• More firm and elastic skin
• Reduces chemical and mechanical irritation
• Anti-inflammatory effect
• Reduces stickiness, upgrading skin feel

Betain An amino acid. Also known as Trimethylglycine or glycine betaine.

Yes, boilerphan it's the Saponificio Varesino 2.0 brush but in the Faux Tortoise. The other 2.0 brush I have is in Cocobolo-they're both outstanding brushes, and this one made quick work of the Grooming Dept soap.

Color me happy.  Smile

Just one problem.  I can't decide whether to try the Mandarin Bay first, or the Mandarin Bay.  ...  Hmm.  ... After thinking it over, I think I will go with the Mandarin Bay.

Unfortunately, mine will be delivered tomorrow. USPS is killing me right now. It was supposed to be here today. Oh well, the wait continues.

Can someone please describe the scents they get from the Mandarin Bay and Citric? Mine is still in transit and the curiosity is killing me.

It’s uneesarily frustrating, but you’ll be happy when they finally arrive. The pre shave is good stuff. I wish I had bought one of the scented preshaves.
