The Mandarin Bay got here yesterday, and I was able to shave with it, and I've got to hand it to Mohammad-what a great soap with a really nice scent. The cardamom in it is present and very pleasant.

The performance of the soap paired with the pre shave is just superb. I was fortunate enough to have tested a sample of an early version of the pre shave, and the released version is an improvement. I was concerned about whether the pre shave would affect the glide factor of the soap, and it simply doesn't. The combination provided a beautiful lather, easy shaving with a straight, and a post-shave feel that is fantastic.

Michael - is that the Cocobolo SV brush in your picture?

I get crazy and obsessive about interesting ingredients This is one of them. I have been trying it for a while in the alcohol free aftershave. I've now added it to the upcoming Janus Vegan base. Overtime it'll be in all the other formulae.

Michael - is that the Cocobolo SV brush in your picture?

Yes, boilerphan it's the Saponificio Varesino 2.0 brush but in the Faux Tortoise. The other 2.0 brush I have is in Cocobolo-they're both outstanding brushes, and this one made quick work of the Grooming Dept soap.

Can someone please describe the scents they get from the Mandarin Bay and Citric? Mine is still in transit and the curiosity is killing me.

It’s uneesarily frustrating, but you’ll be happy when they finally arrive. The pre shave is good stuff. I wish I had bought one of the scented preshaves.
