That’s like telling a crackhead that his dealer’s shipment is delayed!!

I decided to go back for my shave tonight to the original duck fat only soap, Mallard. I wanted to compare it to the newer versions of Mallard soaps. I can honestly say that Mallard (original) still stands up as one of the best concoctions Mo has ever done. The newer Mallards are better but not by much. The first pure Mallard is still a beast and still makes a rich frothy lather and has extremely good protection, cushioning and post shave qualities. I will probably go back to his first soap he ever made with duck fat, Aether, sometime soon but that one was a combo with beef tallow if I remember correctly. I want a good test of some of the old when he releases Mandarin Bay becase I think that one will be an incredible blend of all of the fats and tallows that he has in his possession. Can’t wait to see how that one performs! I am salivating at the thought of lamb tallow and duck fat together in one formula. I don’t think that has ever been done before so leave it to Mo to create something amazing, par usual!! Here is a photo of the first Mallard’s lather from tonight’s shave.

So far I had the pleasure of trying Chypre vert, Tao, Mallard kulfi. My favorite is the kulfi. Scent and performance are excellent. The duck fat base seems to agree with my face better than the others. YMMV
I want to give the vegan base a try, maby lime. Has anyone tried it before, what did you think of it?
