Second shave with Chypre Vert this morning and this time I shook my brush out a couple more times before my load and today, the soap lather was very similar to Coat Tails in look, feel and performance. It is still stightly less dense than Coat Tails but very similar if you start with less water and then add water as you build the lather. Forgot to take pics this morning but hope you get the jist of it. Outstanding soap!!

Love to see Kulfi arrive from West Coast Shaving today and able to order more from Headquarters just now.

Soaps are available, smell incredible, and are the finest made today...in my use. Feels like Christmas has arrived early. Smile

I thought I'd let you know Smile For the currently available soaps on the site, once a soap is sold out, then it is not coming back, Tao is the only exception.

I was told, West Coast Shaving will release their inventory sometime on Wednesday.

Thank you very much DanLaw and Mohammad Wink) DanLaw, the Lusso base, as you described it succinctly, is precisely what I am looking for as it would sound like a perfect fit for my skin type.

I have tried three bases so far duck fat (Pekin), tallow (Tacit), and vegan (Clarus). Needless to say, they are all the very best in the market today, no soap can compete with GD these days.

Duck fat and tallow seem to render a bit too much post-shave moisture (some sort of waxy feeling) on my face whereas the vegan base (Clarus) provides the perfect amount of moisture from a post-shave perspective. My face feels so healthy, natural after using Clarus.

I'm thinking that perhaps the Lusso base would provide the right amount or balance of post-shave moisture for my facial skin that is a bit on the oily side. I've read many reviews where people complained that Valobra's post-shave was more on the dry side whereas for me Valobra provides just the right amount of post-shave moisture. Obviously, it is just my skin type!

By the way DanLaw, speaking of unscented soaps, it looks like Mohammad is no longer making unscented soaps as I did not see any on the re-stock. We have to treasure the unscented tubs we have the most and do not waste any!!!

Hooman sorry I was only referring to the scented soaps. Tacit, Clarus, Pekin, Asinus and Agnus will be available during next soap launch. It'll be sometime in December, I'm sorry I don't have a date yet.

Thank you Mohammad, what A RELIEF!! I can't wait to try the bases are new to me, I'm sure they are worth the wait, no matter how early or late the release! And I also hope that a Lusso soap would be on the horizon as well soon, the scent description of tobacco, whisky and vanilla sounded like very tantalizing!

Part of the Grooming Dept's exotic experience is the anticipation of something unparalled in fineness and quality, you know you would be getting something really good but you don't actually know how good that is until you try.

Mohammad;

Are you saying that the "regular" lineup has become a "limited edition" per say? "not coming back" EVER???

Yes/No. It really depends Smile Sometimes I bring older titles back. For example Absinth & Leather is coming back.
