If the burnt note is in moderation, that sounds really nice!

GroomingDept Thanks so much for the quick response. How would you compare the scents of Verbrannt to those of After The Fire? Also, in what base will Verbrannt be released?

After the fire smoke note is mainly derived from Cade and the rest of the scent is lime forward barbershop.

Verbrannt smoke is from labdanum resin, guaiacwood, oud, cedarwood china and few other thing. And there is another smoke based in the works Smile

It'll be a beef tallow soap.

Hmm...I’d love just a lime forward barbershop...

Maybe I should strip the smoke from After The Fire and figure out a new name/label for the underlying barbershop scent. But, I might get flak from certain people who would consider it unethical and a shady move Smile

I would love to see your take on a straight Barbershop type scent. After the Fire is one of my favorites, but only after the smoke fades away!

I really should make a super traditional one, but I tinker too much, I must restrain myself Smile Though, I'm working on a southern style barbershop scent for a group, scent notes: Bergamot, Peach, Geranium, Lavender, Oakmoss, Leather, Coumarin/Tonka and few surprise things.

I knew that you would definitely put your own take on Barbershop, I would just love to see what it is! The Southern Style Barbershop scent your describing sounds outstanding, and I bet it would work well during the Hot Summer days!

Verbrannt scent notes: Burnt wood, resins, incense, pine and leather.

Added to the "do NOT buy" list. Sounds awful. I can't stand smokey scents.
