That’s what I’m thinking. Usually use my Manchurian badgers but have used a synthetic here and there and not had any issues. I’ll try it again after I get through the 3 beef tallow ones that I got.

If anything, a synthetic should give you a better lather. That's just been my experience though.

Used a synthetic on my After the Fire tallow/duck fat that showed up in the mail today, and it worked great!

We've got hard water here and so far both vegan and tallow GD have performed really well.
