Tried a Nacet for the first time yesterday, and liked it a lot, smooth and sharp enough, very little irritation, I would definitley recommend it!

Any of you users of Nacet tried the Rubie? Used it today for the first time and if it performs well for the next 2 shaves it will be my #1. I've not tried Nacet.

Yes, the Rubie is quite possibly the best blade made in Russia IMO. I bought 200 a few years back.

I love the Nacets. Consistently a great blade in any of my razors. They seem to last a bit longer than most as well.

I've had my four favorites forever. I bought these for the first time ever and love them. I now have 5 favorites: Nacet, Polsilver, Gillette SS, Feather, and Gillette Silver Blue.

I have and use both Rubie and Nacet. Sure enough find Rubie sharp and smooth but short lived. These are my travel blades because I’m going to be one-and-done so longevity is not an issue.

Nacet on the other hand is sharp/smooth/long life. One of my favorite blades. I put them in the same catagory as Permasharp and Polsilver

Funny you should mention that. I picked up a couple Nacet blades from TryABlade and they really are great blades. I usually replace blades after 3 shaves. I'll have to make a point to see how long the Nacet blade lasts (I have one left).

I could never really get more than seven shaves from the best blades. YMMV. With very few exceptions I toss a blade at four shaves nowadays. In the grand scheme of things blades are relatively cheap.

Living on the edge
Just got a tuck to try...there were two types I saw....made in Malaysia and then St Petersburg.

Picked the latter...if its good I see another 100 in my future.

Living on the edge
Had a very nice shave with a Nacet just now....sharp, smooth and very well behaved.
a definite add on to the rotation.

wasn't a fan of the glue spots...some of them actually cover the edge of the blade.

Will get a made in Malaysia tuck also to compare.
