On the Nacet and other blades that have the wax spots (Astra, Polsilver, Voskod, etc.)....
I remove the spots by running the blade under hot water while gently rubbing the wax off with a Q-tip. I do this without touching the edges of the blade.
This prevents the wax from adhering to the inside of your razor. It will not damage the razor, but I like to keep my razors in like new condition.

Was so impressed by my first Nacet, just picked up a 100-pack for about $12.50...not bad at all.

Also checked out the Super Nacets....BPMan you are right, they are made in China but for the
Malaysian market. They're also 60-70% more expensive than the normal St Petersburg Nacets,
but it remains to be seen if they will perform 60% better. My guess is probably not.

They say 'platinum coated' and feel a little thinner than the St P Nacet. The packaging to me looks
a bit garish and non-premium....I picked up 2 tucks to try. Glue spots are very discreet, I appreciate that.
The inside of the blade wrapper had an ad for a cartridge razor.

That's a good price. Now, if you could only find us a vendor there who would ship these to the USA for a decent price as I'd love to try this one. Wink

Must be newer packaging. They did this recently with the 7 O'Clock Super Platinum.

I just received 100 Nacets from IB (fantastic price of $10.99). I thought I had only received half as there were just 10 tucks, then checked closer to see that they were packs of 10.

Nacets are great. One of my regular blades. Buy them in 100's.
Not happy with the wax spots, but dip the blade in a jar of alcohol, rub wax spot with a Q tip, and wax all gone.
My Timeless OC likes the Nacets too.
I could live with just Nacets in the blade stash.
