Waiting for my .84 baseplate to arrive. As many others have stated, the GC is well built, I just would like a more aggressive razor. Hope it performs as expected.

I received my 84 plate yesterday.

For me, it was very noticeable increase in efficiency. I wouldn't say it has a lot more blade feel than the 68, but I notice the blade more. Ever so slight decrease in comfort, while still being really easy to use.

It's a great balance of comfort and closeness of the shave, and I don't know if there's a better value for the price in my den.

Evidently base plates are available again. Just got an order confirmation.

Razor: RazoRock Game Changer .84-P
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Permasharp Stainless
Brush: Doug Korn Stubby (35mm, Carrier Class)
Soap: Stirling Pumpkin Spice
AS: Stirling Glacial Unscented PSB

A slight detour from SEptember. I got the new Game Changer .84-P base plate in yesterday and couldn't wait to give it a go. With the increased .84mm blade gap and slightly more blade exposure the Game Changer really performs like an ultra premium razor. During the shave I kept thinking man this is smooth, but its really efficient too! Two passes with a little touch up brought home the baby! For those that have a Rex I would say its comparable to setting 4.5, and just as smooth! Ill give the GC another go on Friday before I return to SEptember, but based on first impressions the .84-P base plate was what the Game Changer was always meant to be.

Great write up my friend. Along with other reports across various forums, this confirms and solidifies that the Gamechanger is a player in the premium shaving razor group without the premium price.

Competitor's might have to take notice......

I just mention the GameChanger .84 on a different shaving community. I am going to see how fast the post is removed or if I get banned again.

I had my first shave with the .84 today, I have to say I’m impressed. I got the original game Changer with the first release and I was not wow’d by the efficiency but I would recommend it for someone with light beard growth or a new shaver. So it didn’t work well for me. But as soon as I heard there was to be a more aggressive plate I was curious. So I have to say that the .84 isn’t really more aggressive as it’s still smooth but it delivers a close and comfortable shave. I have to say if this is going to be offered as a razor with both plates it would become my recommend razor for someone getting into shaving looking for a quality razor that should last a lifetime or more. There are so many great options out there but the Game Changer seems to hit a balance as a price/quality/value razor. This will be in rotation with $300 razors. Posting Freak
I just saw that Italian Barber has the .84 (more aggressive) head in stock with the entire razor including a radio knob handle - so thats baseplate, cap plate and handle, right a whole razor.
