Folsom and company is back!

Mine arrived today. New label style, but scent seems to be the same. Will say I was surprised a D a little disappointed in shipping. Just the bottle tossed in a bubble mailer and nothing else. Thankfully it survived but I have heard of at least one that arrived broken.

On another note. Of anyone has been wanting to try Black Powder but is leary of ordering, TTFFC's The Beast is modeled after the same fragrance and is nearly identical.

Hmm, more and more the return of Folsom is starting to seem like a real fly-by-night type of operation… My order still hasn’t left the building, and when it does, apparently it will face all possible odds in subpar packaging.

Freddie, if you have experience with both Folsom & Co. and Through the Fire Fine Crafts postshave products, how does their performance compare?

Folsom aftershaves have the same ingredients as Fine so very similar performance there whereas TTFFC has more "skin goodies" like witch hazel, aloe, glycerin, etc. so it results in a more moisturized, slightly "tackier" face feel. Scent longevity for both is about the same, which is to say very good for an aftershave splash. Just my experience with the two...

Thanks for sharing your observations about these products. I found that Through the Fire Fine Crafts’ The Beast is on sale (and shipping was free), so I went ahead and ordered the soap (my first of the brand) and the cologne, because I guess I figured I’d jump in at the deep end.

As for my Folsom & Co. order — it still hasn’t shipped.

My first order (Oct 15) of 3 bottles shipped today and scheduled for delivery by Friday. Second order (Oct 29) of 1 bottle has yet to ship. I just pray that he didn't put 3 loose bottles in a bubble-wrap baggie. Truly hoping for a box.

racerx1, definitely keep us posted. Curious how he's shipping multiple bottles myself!

By the way, Shambala is really great. Does anyone know if it is based on a designer fragrance, or if it’s similar to one? (I guess I’m asking mainly out of curiosity – I can still smell the couple of drops I used on my skin about eight hours ago…)

Glad to see yours arrived safely also. Decided to go all in and ordered the Capri (even though I am not really a fan of lemon) after I placed my initial order. That order has yet to ship. Fingers crossed that will be delivered intact.
