I agree with conservator that the feather razor has an affinity for the feather blade - who knew right? I also found the Feather blades to work very well in the ikon SC#102 slant. I put a Kai blade in the AS-D2 and was not happy. So, for the time being the As-D2 gets fed an exclusive diet of Feather blades.
I'm using a feather blade in my fat handled gillette tech for my 2nd shave now. I did 2 passes on my lower neck only, for 2 different shaves. for me, the feathers aren't NEARLY as smooth in the gillette tech as they are in my feather as-d2. I cannot feel the feather blade against my skin AT ALL when it's in my as-d2, but I can definitely feel it in my tech...and it's rough. I'm probably going to swap it out for my trusty astra sp blades for my next shave in a day or two..
Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito.
I'm on an Excalibur quest with my Feather right now. I'm about 8 shaves in, hopefully I could stretch it even more without sacrificing even a little bit in its performance. The moment I feel a tug or get a weeper, that's the end of it.
So far, so good with the Rockwell 6s.
I don't like paying a lot for blades, and I find these blades to be on the spendy side.
I do wish there was a cheaper eBay seller of Feathers like with some of our favorite blades.

I use a Feather more often than not, whether DE or SE, and Kai, too. And at $24.20/100 (DE) and $11.25/20 (AC Pro) on Amazon, Feathers are a good buy compared to the rest, IMO.
My Personnas (US and Israeli), although decent, are getting lonely in my bathroom drawer.

Out of all the blades I have tried, two have come on top, and sadly, they are both some of the most expensive DE blades out there — Personna (Med) Preps and Feather New Hi-Stainless blades.
The Feather DE blades get the job done where so many other blades fail. I seem to have relatively sensitive skin, so I am not interested in wrecking my face with a mild blade and a four-pass shave. For me, Feathers are smooth from the very first shave, and are good for 5–7 shaves per blade. (Which, by the way, brings the cost down nicely.)
I have enjoyed Feathers in a variety of different razors. They were the only blade that would actually make my Gillette Travel Tech, well, shave. And when I load one in my Blackbird, the already efficient razor reaches a new pinnacle of stubble destruction capability.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

None of the top tier Gillette blades, e.g., Rubie, Platinum or 7 O'Clock ones worked for you?
Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.” “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.
