Tallow or vegan The Fat is my favourite. Though to be fare l have to say l am new in traditional shaving and so far l only tried 2 tallow base soaps.

Mike's, Strop Shoppe, MWF, Tabac and DR Harris, Stirling and, of course, B&M.

I think part of the vegan proliferation is due to the wide acclaim enjoyed by MdC. I may be going out on a limb, but the artisan-based "French style" soaps are basically just stearate, which probably makes them less expensive to make. Probably easier to formulate as well.

Maybe I missed it, but has anyone posted PANNA CREMA as a favorite tallow soap? It's definitely a favorite of mine.
