people rag on the smell of tabac, but I must be one of the weird ones because I happen to like its scent.

Favorites:
Mikes
Cella
Razorock
DR Harris

On the way to me right now:
Stirling
Haslinger Schafmilch Ewe's Milk
Bain Amour
Palmolive

Want to try:
B&M
MWF
Mickey Lee

Hell, I want to try everything, but with 50+ soaps left after trading a lot away I have a hard time justifying it. That and the ATT razor, stirling order, and a new brush just this week makes it impossible at the moment. My wife would fing kill me lol.

It's a smell that appeals a lot to some and to the older folks a lot. The history of Tabac is actually kind of interesting. They were one of the pioneers back in the 1900's in men's fragrance. They kind of popularized it. Paved the way for us.

So do I and a lot of others.  However, it is most definitely a polarizing scent. Smile

With that in mind, what are some of your favorite TALLOW soaps? Artisan or mass-production, it doesn't matter. Even the dreaded Arko qualifies!

Among those not my own, I'm a big fan of Mickey Lee Soap Works, Tabac, Valobra hard soaps (despite their sometimes weird underlying scent), and have just recently come to enjoy Strop Shoppe Limited Edition (I had historically had a lot of problems with their SE line). What are your favorites?

Mike's

I love Tabac but never get around to using it.
