Favorite Tallow Soaps?

I just revisited my soap inventory, and to my surprise most of my soaps are vegan/veggie. My tallow soaps are mostly from B&M and very vintage Colgate Palmolive.

So, for me it is absolutely clear - B&M RULES in the Tallow Universe!

I haven't got a favourite, really. I pretty much like most of my tallow based shaving soaps.

Here are the best tallow soaps that I've tried, for different reasons and not in any particular order:

Czech & Speake
Boellis Panama 1924
Barrister & Mann (Glissant)
Mystic Water (only usable in soft water for me)

My favorite tallow soaps:

1. Barrister & Mann (White Label or Glissant base)
2. CRSW
3. Mike's Natural
4. Tiki Bar
5. Haslinger Schafmilch
6. Strop Shoppe LE
7. Reef Point
8 Mickey Lee
9. Stirling
10. The Fat

I've found that my favorite soaps often contain the following key ingredients: Tallow, kokum butter, shea butter, lanolin. I'm absolutely in love with lanolin soaps.

Numbers 1 & 2 ... I still have not figured out which is which..

Czech&Speake Oxford and Cambridge .. and Mitchell's Wool Fat. It's tough to pick a winner!

For me, its got to be Barrister & Mann.

Love tallow soaps. The lather is creamy and dense and far easier to adjust quickly which is a plus when trying to get out the door in the morning.

My favorites in order;

Mikes
Haslinger
MWF
Reef Point

The tallow-based brands that I use most frequently, in no particular order:
- B&M
- Tabac
- Stirling
- Cella

Great soaps one and all. Of those only Tabac has a specific spot in the rotation: Tabac Tuesday.
