I have to admit to somewhat conflicting opinions about this. On the one hand, I really like the old Floris and Penhaligon's tallow soaps, especially Floris No. 89 and Penhaligon's English Fern. But I also like a few of the modern ones, such as RazoRock P160 and Son of Zeus and Stirling Executive Man and Tuscany.

- agree with the older Penhaligons. Haven't had a chance to try tallow Floris.
I also like the older AOS tallow soaps. These are hard to beat.

It all starts and stops with Haslinger for me.

All evidence has been buried. All tapes have been erased.

I appreciate how quickly a vegan soap can lather, and sometimes I crave that "clean slick" feeling, but nothing beats the creaminess of tallow. Tops for me right now:

Barrister & Mann
Tabac
CRSW
D.R. Harris

Though reading through this thread I now have Reef Point and some Mickey Lee samples in a cart online... dangerous...
David : DE shaving since Nov 2014. Nowadays giving in to the single-edge siren call.

Hi Clayton, I believe that Cella is a tallow soap actually.

Mike's Natural Soaps - First artisan soap I tried and I still use Mike's quite a bit.
Barrister & Mann - I just picked up a couple recently. Why did I wait so long?!?! Great soap!
Shannon's
Mystic Water
PannaCrema

I have several of the classic commercial tallow soaps and use them some, but I find myself gravitating towards the artisan soaps.
