Ikon Shave Craft Tech and the PAA open Comb and the 1st iteration of the Muhle R41 are the most aggressive DE razors on the market in my opinion. I would offer this aside. A couple of years ago I got on an aggressive Razor kick and looking back now, it was really quite asinine on my part because I assumed aggressive had to mean a better more efficient shave . I have very dark and thick facial hair that grows reminiscent of Michael J Fox in teen wolf. I still have all of the aforementioned razors, but none of the them can, or ever will be daily drivers. I get a great shave from them but using them beyond two days in a row starts to become a painful endeavor, I honestly believe they remove too much dermis and thus, my face begins to scream at me if I use any of those razors for more than two consecutive days. I still love them, think they are great razors, but I would argue that is a considerable drawback of a too aggressive DE. For the large majority of the population they are too aggressive to be daily driver razors. I have friends with lighter facial hair that I have loaned those razors too and they can't even use them because they are too harsh for their facial hair and skin combination. Sometimes when people get into this hobby they think aggressive means better when really, as time goes on, you learn that notion couldn't be further from the truth. These types of razors will always have a place in my den but I reach for them only about once a week now. Just a personal observation on aggressive razors.
