I agree about injectors and have sold all my DEs (for the moment). But many DE razors are just beautiful, whereas Schick aesthetics are... functional.

So I've gone SE only for the moment (have some GEMs along with my Schick), but I doubtless will feel the tug when some nice looking DE specimen comes along. Smile

Love my G; need to try an E and I one of these days.

My E doesn't feel like a cartridge at all to me. It requires A LOT more attention to what you're doing.

That's an understatement, yes. A cartridge gone rogue maybe. It's a great shaver but I've never taken to the handling of the E/G. I find the F and I the better handling Schicks.

I agree about that. The handle is too short for my liking so it takes some adjustment.

I have never used an E Model as they are rarer than Republicans in San Francisco. Wink I have read however that they are very aggressive which counts me out. I have solved (for me) the modern Personna dilemma in that those blades work best in later more mild injectors. I used one today in my I 2 injector and the resultant shave was superb. Wink

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

I like mine very much.  It is not a "necessary" razor or the cheapest possible road to a great "Schick experience", but it is a very smooth and reasonably efficient razor for me.  I had zero learning curve even though the angle is different from DEs, and I got a skin-friendly BBS shave on my maiden voyage.  I was also surprised at how easy the grip is and how comfortable the razor is in my hand.   That concerned me up front because the Supply handle lacks texture.  One other thing ... If you buy a Supply, I would suggest spending the extra $20 for the mild and aggressive plates.

I don't know how the V2 performs but I really like my V1. Its smooth and plenty aggressive with the 3dot plate

I also have a few Schicks in my regular rotation. Type M dialed all the way up to 7 the most aggressive setting is really smooth and gives a great quality and bbs shave.
