Royal, exotic and timeless all in one. Resinous, slightly smoky, deep and opulent due to the oud, romantic, soft and velvety floral due to the rose and slightly spicy in the base due to the patchouli. Ingenious.

Thank you so much for your detailed explanation of what you get out of TOAD. I have to ask what shaving bowl is that? I haven’t seen that one but it looks really cool. Nice set up!

Frank, thank you very much. I try my best to honor the items in my photos.

The shaving bowl is from HC&C. Their unpolished stainless steel shaving bowl. I bought them for the larger knot brushes. As much as I love my Saponificio Varesono bowls, they are not satisfactory for me for larger knots. The HC&C bowl is ideal. You can find it here. Allthough I did get it from BST.

So along with the next new release as I’ve stated before I’m going to start filling in both old scents I’ve made before and because of many requests I’ve gotten from members, followers on social media and my vendors I’ve decided to get the Rosa back in stock since I have everything I need to make it and I’ll be adding a Body Oil and a Body Wash to the lineup of products. Why add more products? Well as some may know Rose Essential Oil and in fact any form of authentic Rose like Rose Floral water or Absolute etc. has multiple skin benefits such those listed below.

1. Anti-inflammatory
Soothes irritation, redness, and acne scars
Can help with eczema and allergic rashes
2. Hydrating
Locks in moisture to hydrate dry or aging skin
Helps keep skin healthy, lubricated, and elastic
3. Anti-aging
Contains antioxidants that protect skin from environmental damage
Can help slow down the effects of aging skin
4. Antibacterial Can help prevent acne, treat cleanse and tone the skin.
5. Wound healing
Has been used as a cicatrisant (wound-healing) ingredient
6. Skin type
Suitable for many different skin types, including sensitive or problem-prone skin
7. Rose oil is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It's been used for centuries in skincare products

The reason I wanted to bring this up is I look at Rose more so for it’s benefits than its scent although I really like it but there are many Rose scented products out there but unfortunately most use synthetic fragrance oils or aroma chemicals and in perfumery Rose aroma chemicals are used a lot and I get it if your only looking for scent or mixing scents to get the desired scent. There’s more than a lot of Rose Oud EDP’s out there but when you look beyond the aroma profile to the actual ingredients 90% of them use all synthetic aroma chemicals which is fine if your ok with that. When I set out to make a Rose scented line up of both shaving and skin beneficial products I knew it would have to be 100%  natural or nothing. Natural Rose is not inexpensive and there are some varieties of both Turkish and Persian absolutes that can be close to or above $1,000 an oz. Of course I can’t use those varieties or I’d hate to think what a tub of shave soap would cost. I’m very lucky I have a very good source and I buy some of my more expensive aroma ingredients from him as he gives me very good prices relative to what I’d have to pay here in the US from a reputable supplier. So I’m able to bring you real Rose products at a reasonable price that are not only real in scent but bring skin benefits for your skin.

So you know the Rosa Collection of products are made using only 100% Pure Rose Essential Oils, Absolutes, Floral Water and a Natural distillate.

Just like to be upfront and also be informative about the products you pay good hard earned money for as you deserve that.

Kind regards

Frank

Yep Nero your right on with the Rosa. Springtime is when flowers bloom and it’s a good time to get it back in stock.

TommyCarioca No worries my friend the Magnolia will be a reality this Spring and I’ve got some Honeysuckle in stock currently but not many and It was the 2nd batch. I’ll be adding a couple of products with the scent.

Ok the Gentleman’s Lounge labels are done design wise and I’m trying to figure out if I should try the new brushed Gold lids I have coming. I did a co - buy with another soap maker as I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I helped her get hers as she was getting way overcharged for shinny gold ones from a supplier who to me is overpriced on everything he sells. These brushed gold are the exact same as my brushed silver only in gold.

When they come in I’ll have my graphic designer lay the label on the Gold lid and post both to get your opinions.

An I’m very happy with the label and the name I came up with as I tried AI and looked up names and nothing did it for me so I went simple and I like it. Hope you do too!

Way to go Frank.  IMO you nailed it.  I expect whatever decisions are made about brushed gold vs current will be spot on too.

UPDSTE:

Just a quick one. Today we finally filled in all the Roll Up shave soap scents. So we have every one of the in stock for anyone waiting on them. Also replenished the Unscented First Lather. We had been waiting on the containers as they were back ordered and we finally got our order last week.
