Frank, I'm sorry. I hope you're able to get everything figured out and you can start getting your life back to normal quickly. Keep your head up.

Really sorry, Frank. I know this is devastating for now, but it will get better. You're in my prayers.

Frank, I'm sure things seem a mess now, but you'll get through this. We're pulling for you. You're brilliant, and you're resilient, and eventually everything will work out.

I don’t know where to start but I’ll make this short and simple.  Last night I just pulled out of the parking lot from a day of work at my warehouse and I wasn’t on the road for more than two minutes when I got a call from my cousin who lives in the same Condo development that I do and he says cuz your condo is on fire.  I’m in front of it and there are flames and massive amounts of smoke coming out of the windows especially in what I think is your bedroom. I was at that moment about 30 minutes away from home so I sped up but was in 5 O’ Clock traffic. Of course all kinds of things were going through my head know my life was in there. I knew it must be bad when they had the parking lot block so I parked on the street and ran  as I approached I saw about 6 fire trucks and a few police cars. That’s when it sunk in that it was real and not looking good. That was confirmed when I finally made it to where my unit is and saw all the smoke coming out of the windows.

The damage is extensive as I was informed after I waited 4 hours before the fire inspector gave me any sort of clear information about the fire and smoke damage.

I had old work clothes on and nothing much else with me so long story short I had to go to a couple of stores buy some essentials and I’m in a hotel. I’m hoping to get more information between today and tomorrow about being able to go in to see the damage  I’m trying to figure where I’ll be going as I doubt I’ll be back in my condo anytime soon. I’m still trying to wrap my head around this whole situation and what’s next.

I know this is a shaving forum and my personal situation is not relative but I’m probably not going to be at work for a day or two so if anyone has an order please be patient. I need a couple days to figure out things and most of all to figure where I’m going to be staying.
I plan on going in to work by no later than Thursday or Friday and get things back in motion.

Sometimes life gives you some challenging times and I’m pretty sure this is going to be one of them but I’ll get through it and the most important thing is no one in the building was injured.

All the best

Frank

Tough times, for sure. God bless you, Frank.

A quick stop to say think you all for the kind and encouraging words I’m currently at the Hotel and I finally got a chance to talk to the insurance company but still have to wait to hear from the insurance inspector and so I know a little bit more but I will probably be staying in the hotel for at least the next 2-3 days

We’ve all probably had curve balls thrown at us here and there through life’s journey and I’ve certainly had my share of them here and there but I have faith in myself to get through this obstacle. An I’m very thankful that I wasn’t sleeping in my bed when this happened or there would be no more me to make shave soaps. Fire inspector told me this electrical fire started very fast and would have probably got me as my bed was totally destroyed

I’m gonna try to go into work for a couple hours here and there this week but I’ve got a lot to get taken care regarding this situation.

Thanks again everyone.. means a lot to have friends.

Quick update

My assistant Annette went in today and got most of the orders out. The only ones that didn't go out were the ones that need special attention or customizing by me. I will get to them as soon as I get some of these insurance and other must do's out of the way so my apologies for the shipping delays on a few orders.

Kind regards

Frank
