Well the "New Camera Blues" continues....Did a video review of the Watermelon Mint (WM) and talked LOUD for the whole video to help the volume boost only to find the camera wasn't activated on when I clicked the button Angry So Dave gets to type up what he can. I will do a video and use my Tablet again by Sat to ensure it working but give the highlights of this New release that is open for preorder next week. When I 1st opened the tub of soap and sniffed it I was like "Oh, that's nice and refreshing" and then thought....this reminds me of something. Took a few more whiffs and thought, I know and grabbed a tub of Greenfresh to smell. Yep, it has the mint similar to the Greenfresh. I then sniffed it a little more and could distinguish the 2 scents of the Mint and the Watermelon. The Mint comes to the fore but the Watermelon is there lurking to pop up and let you know it's there and not to forget it. That's what I'd expect as WM is not a strong scent for me to begin with. I will add though that when I took a sniff of the Splash I was like OH MY !! The Watermelon told Mint who was Boss and comes thru more clearly for sure, YES PLEASE. That was NICE and Well done Frank !! As I type this and sip my coffee I'm still getting the scent of the Watermelon and Mint with a slight cooling that lingers. Not too strong but refreshing. This I would use year round even if many would consider it a Summer scent. The artwork keeps getting better too Frank and I couldn't be happier to have this set and use it with all the other Ethos lineup in my den. Everyone have a great day !

I placed an order for a ShaveMD set. Enabled by thre positive comments in this thread I also added Vetivert, Nuage Citron, and Blue Note.

Mark was a friend and I am especially looking forward to that one as it will have special meaning.

They are pricey products for sure, but of course high quality. The way I look at it, if I use them often and get enjoyment out of them, I can justify it.

I look forward to hopefully getting them in the den soon.

Mèlange d' Agrumes

OK Frank, I was thinking this release was too late based on the close of summer. - but as our Master razor/shaver Bluegrass noted regarding Watermelon Mint, based on scent strength and fragrance accord, Agrumes lands in the same spot. I could use this all year.

The AFS is the star of the show. Smells like I am dowsing the juice of a Texas RR Grapefruit on my old tired mug. The newly tweaked F base is waaa'haaaay slicker and more dense than the previous version. I think I am in love.

One other footnote, there is a distinct scent difference between Red Ruby and thecstandard yellow Grapefruit /yuzu fruit. And this is definitely distinguishable in the Frank's new product. Wholly Kaw tried with Pompelo, Gingers Garden has a version - they can't compete with this. However, from a scent standpoint, the Grapefruit cream by Taylor of Old Bond Street is on par [sweeter and not the RedRuby version]. Esbjerg is different - not a pure citrus accord, but worthy.

Enjoy this all Mèlange d' Agrumes all year gents.

Hello gentlemen

I was going to post this closer to the end of the day but I just checked in on here so better while the subject came up.

We got a tremendous amount of orders and I was alone on Monday and my assistant is back today but we are filling the orders in the order that we received them just to let you know. Also as some of my long term customers know my shipping days are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So we may print an order out but don’t always get it filled or to the postal service that particular day. I’m not Amazon but do the best I can to get orders out as soon as possible.

Thank you all for the awesome support you guys have given me over the years and I can tell you ETHOS is growing.

TommyCarioca I’m so glad you like the new aroma blend in the Melange De Agrume . It finally smells like a Ruby Red Grapefruit. I’ve always been a fan of that fruit and used to eat one almost every morning. Lately I’ve been on a fresh Pineapple kick lol

End of the Day Report

We got a lot of orders out today but still more to go and we should get the balance out on Friday.

Seems like a lot of love for the 7. 5 oz sizes, and to think I was close to eliminating them. Well that’s not gonna happen. I really like handling them as well. Easier to fill than the 4.5 oz sizes.

Thanks again for the support guys!

Hope to see some of you in NYC at the Pasteur Shave Meet.

Is the Melange 7.5 tallow creme gone? I checked yesterday early and it's nowhere to be found, still not so I assume so.

Thought I’d clear this up and I’ll make this really fast. I’ve asked what kind of packing peanuts we use and I will say they are completely biodegradable and made from Cornstarch . Non - biodegradable peanuts are banned in NYS.

Another great thing about these biodegradable peanuts is they can adsorb liquids if anything leaks in transit. They sucked up a whole bottle of SFS in one of my orders and didn't skip a beat keeping the empty bottle safe and sound from breakage. That's something the old packing peanuts couldn't do.

Wait did you get a bottle of Skin Food Splash that all leaked out?

If so please send me an email with what Skin Food Food Splash you lost and I’ll get a replacement out right away!

I’m serious!
