Frank - the Revello sounds great to me, in fact, I was going to ask you if you had anything in the works for a Fig scented soap or cream, Fig has become one of my favorites!

If you're asking about rose, I think my vote would be red rose over a white rose. Less green note would be my preference. I would totally get it if a rose scent would be better represented in a softer base but personally, I don't want to keep buying soft soaps if I have the chance to buy a firm format. I enjoy loading a brush on a harder puck versus scooping and smearing on the soft consistency products. The lather isn't the issue but it takes the joy out of the ritual with the brush for me. Just being honest, and thats from someone who used Dragonsbeard v2 earlier this week with pleasure. F Base gets my vote

A few nice rose scented shave soaps that come to mind are Klarr Kabinett (long bar version), Le Pere Lucien Rose de Pushkar and TFS (Rose/Bergamot Neroli tester). Worth notes a couple note worthy mentions for other nice rose scented shave soaps were MDC and Jabonman Rosas. None of these I mentioned are too complex or heavy but maybe to my nose, a bit more of a simple rose scent. Doesn't mean it can't have any other fragrance components in there to work well. Wouldn't be surprised if geranium is common to see used along side different rose extracts.

Does anybody have any relatively recent Melange d'agrumes products? I have an old vile that came with my soap that is orange in colour and smells very much citrusy. The reason I ask is I just got a personal aroma blend in this scent and it's completely clear and has little scent. Frankly it smells an awful lot like Arko, whether that's awful is up for debate. I just want to figure out what happened? I had planned to boost the scent of my older and unscented soaps, but I guess I will have to try a different aroma, maybe Frank will make me a Colonia. On the plus side, the Sandalo SFS is even more wonderful smelling than I had expected from the serum. But I thought it was supposed to have a little piece in it?

Ok that’s not right. It should smell a lot like fresh Ruby Red Grapefruit. The only thing I can think of might be the cause of the mishap was there were some Aroma Blend bottles that had different oils in them on one of the shelves and it’s possible that my new assistant assumed that just because it said Aroma Blend on the bottle that it was what you ordered and those are not stock items so I would have had to make it and I know I didn’t mix any in the last couple of weeks for any customers. You obviously got the wrong product.
Oh and I don’t have anything that smells like Artko so I know that’s not the right product. Send me a email on the website and I’ll get the real Melange De Agrume Aroma Blend out to you on Monday. Please include your shipping address.

Frank, hoarded a couple of the Agrumes soaps and scents as it such a favourite of mine. 

Unfortunate that I tied to the person where scent turned to Akro, apologies.  While the scent vial I have do not smell of Akro, their scent has all but disappeared. All have been stored in a dark dry room so not as though humidity or light got to them. Scent gone though. 

Further, the Agrumes soaps in my possession have lost about half their scent also stored in dark dry room but no where near loss of scent of the scent bottles.

The Agrume skin foods all as good as day received

Other scents such as Colonia, Greenfresh, Succes, Lavender, Fresco&c also as good as day received.

Is it normal that under lab conditions, the Agrumes scent bottles and soaps lose their scent?

Ok the original batch of Melange De Agrume was in the original soft base and the scent was definitely diminished by the heat from making the shave soap. That said I’ll probably never make that scent again in a soap but rather the new Tallow Shave Creme as it suits the. Aroma Blend that’s nothing but citrus much better even though I know some tricks along the way. Also in that blend was both Pink and White Grapefruit which are in no way strong scents . Ruby Red Grapefruit is the strongest of the 3 Grapefruits. So the others will come out of the blend and I’ll increase both the Yuzu and the Litsea Cubea. All of the about change should make the scent come alive and be the Citrus scent it should be.

The Aroma Blend is probably at least 2 years old and I’m certain it’s lost strength as it’s past it’s expected lifespan. I’ll tell you what when I release the Melange De Argume message me and I’ll send you an Aroma Blend you’ll see it’s a a lot different.
