An excellent, refreshing shave tonight. The peppermint is a very clean scent. I like to label color too - it's red with maybe some dark orange tint to it(?). Looks great!

Ok so I have a question as I’m looking for some input.

Yesterday I made a good sized batch of Tallow Shave Creme and of course it’s Unscented right now. So some I have to use to restock the Blue Note as that’s all gone and I’ll make some more Bergamotto so I can get some out to my vendors who sold out. Also have 3 custom Shave Cremes to make for some customers. A straight Tobacco and he also wants the Tonka Bean and then another wants a real Honeysuckle but I’m going to have enough left to
Make another Shave Creme. I’m thinking either of these two. Melage De Agrume or Blood Orange again. Of course they both get the new Tallow Shave Creme base that’s in the Bergamotto. I could come out with the new Revello earlier than I was going to as I was saving it for the Spring release since it’s a light clean scent.



Any thoughts/suggestions?

It’s kind of a light clean Aroma blend that kind of reminds me of a cologne I sampled yrs ago that stuck in my head and for the life of me I can’t remember the name.  

Here’s the blend. 
Natural Distillates of Fig, Blackberry, Red Fruits and Apricot, Organic Ruby Red Grapefruit Essential Oil, Helichrysum Essential Oil, Bay Leaf Essential Oil,  White Cedarwood Essential Oil, Egyptian 10% Jasmine Absolute, Haitian Vetiver Essential Oil.

All those options sound nice to me, Frank. However, if I could do anything , I'm dying for someone to make a natural smelling, straight Violet (don't want that old fashioned violet candy, others have done that, but not for me)...

That’s funny you bring that up Matt. 

I have a custom order in for a F Base soap and Skin Food Lotion that the customer wanted a straight Violet with no other Aroma ingredients in them. We had a discussion and the obvious was to use some pre done synthetic Violet candle/soap making fragrance oil or could use a synthetic Violet accord. After talking we both came to the conclusion and agreed that I would use 100% pure Violet Essential oil.  I decided to try samples from 3 different suppliers and found one that stood out from the rest. Not inexpensive but also not crazy expensive so that’s what we are going with and the EO just came in so next batch of F Base I make I’ll make the products. With that said if I put the Violet in the new Tallow  Creme base I certainly wouldn’t have to use as much as I would if making the Shave soap to let’s say achieve the same scent strength. Therefore it would be less expensive to make the Creme vs Soap.

Oh I’m also strongly considering doing a straight natural Rose ( I like Rose all by itself) and I’ve been going back and forth on Soap or Creme on that one.

Magnolia. 

I’ve got tub of Bufflehead that is a beautiful magnolia scent - Velvet Ditch.  It’s getting past it’s prime now but I still love that magnolia.

Id love a rose in your f base.  Would you be going for a green rose or a sweet powdery rose?  Violet sounds nice too.
